ਸਖ ਨਾਹੀ ਬਹਤੈ ਧਨਿ ਖਾਟੇ ॥
Sukẖ nĝhī bahuṯai ḝẖan kẖĝtė.
There is no peace in earning lots of money.
ਸਖ ਨਾਹੀ ਪੇਖੇ ਨਿਰਤਿ ਨਾਟੇ ॥
Sukẖ nĝhī pėkẖė niraṯ nĝtė.
There is no peace in watching dances and plays.
ਸਖ ਨਾਹੀ ਬਹ ਦੇਸ ਕਮਾਝ ॥
Sukẖ nĝhī baho ḝės kamĝė.
There is no peace in conquering lots of countries.
ਸਰਬ ਸਖਾ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਗਣ ਗਾਝ ॥੧॥
Sarab sukẖĝ har har guṇ gĝė. ॥1॥
All peace comes from singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, Har, Har. ॥1॥
ਸੂਖ ਸਹਜ ਆਨੰਦ ਲਹਹ ॥
Sūkẖ sahj ĝnanḝ lahhu.
You shall obtain peace, poise and bliss,
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਾਈਝ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਗਰਮਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਕਹਹ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Sĝḝẖsangaṯ pĝīai vadbẖĝgī gurmukẖ har har nĝm kahhu. ॥1॥ rahĝo.
when you find the Saadh Sangat, by great good fortune.
As Gurmukh, utter the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ॥1॥Pause॥
