The '''Sikh Temple Gurdwara'' Sserving as a cultural center for some 20,000 Sikhs who reside in and around Yuba City. The Gurdwara,  which was was erected in 1969, sits on a 30 acre site.


The Gurdwara was erected in 1969 and sits on a 30 acre site. It serves as a cultural center for some 20,000 Sikhs who reside in the local and surrounding area. Blessed by the grace of the Waheguru Ji, the first Sunday of each November an estimated 75,000 Sikh followers from all over the world converge at this site to join in the annual Gurgiddi procession commemorating the receipt of their holy scriptures, the Guru Granth Sahib, as the living embodiment of their Gurus. These scriptures were passed on to the Sikhs by their tenth and final Guru in 1708.
Blessed by the grace of the Waheguru Ji, on the first Sunday of each November, an estimated 75,000 Sikh followers from all over the world converge at this site to join the crowds of local Sikhs and people of other religions in the annual Gurgiddi procession commemorating the receipt of the Sikh holy scriptures, the [[Guru Granth Sahib]] that was given the [[Guruship]] by the last of the living [[Sikh Masters]], [[Guru Gobind Singh]] Ji in 1708.
