A problem While Uploading Images

These Kind Of Problem came when i use to upload images.

Could not copy file "/tmp/phpVU4kmV" to
"temp/0/0e/20080407141125!Fatehgarh_Sahib_(17).jpg".

Well Thats the best pic clicked as there is not much space to click the image if you want any clear image then i will find but: the following images are only available there is no other angle to take snap as gurdwara is situated in very tight street, mohalla shekhon you can watch one of following:

Jogasingh1.jpg
  • i have uploaded pics mostly which are clicked from different angles and Gurdwara Bibangarh also shown here. Due to less time i was not able to click jyoti swaroop , chevin patshahi and third one koi na fir rabb nae sadeyaa khich leyavangaa. Know i am taking your camera wid me to hoshiarpur there we are planning for local tour of historical gurdwaras. Lets see

Sorry i will not available here for a week or may be upto month or two exams are near by, 1th may and have to prepare for it. Tomarrow going back to hoshiarpur if get time i will give darshan here. No Internet facility there and we have disconeected that raddhi BSNL connection. I think i will come back after this week so meet you then or after two weeks. Sorry again. sat sri akal

singhji, don't you think that Three Pillars is not the right phrase. guruji laid down these guidlines for us

  • Sat, Santokh, Vichar
  • Daya, Dharam, Dan
  • Sidak, Sabar, Sanjam
  • Khima, Garibi(humility), Seva
  • Gyan, Krit. (Dr. Tirlochan Singh)
  1. They in short become Naam Japo, Krit Karo, Wand ke Chako.

A pillar is an Islamist thing. What do you think? i think the heading name or title needs to be something else than "three pillars"(It is a copy). guruji never copied anything, he was inspired by waheguru himself.Koolkat 09:53, 7 April 2008 (MDT)

Sat Shri Akaal Again

This time when i will go to Bhai Joga singh gurdwara i will try a new method i will enter in someones house and click from the top of any roof. Know you must be thinking how can i enter in any house. there are some houses on which a board is there called "Tera Ghar" view pic of Amrik singh hundal a board at back it is written...............if you enter in these houses the persons living here will not throw out of the house. This is the Mahanata of hoshiarpurias, specially these people. Tera Ghar what a phrase............Guru Nanak Said Tera Tera mera mujh mein kujh nahin. Sly these guys are amazingly following there path and these people will allow me to take photograph from there houses, such a great people, one more thing about hoshiarpur here people of all communities jointly organizes any dharmik functions. Well I will click the photographs from wide angle do not take tension, Main ithey matha tekan jaanda rehndaa haan. Flickr is heavy site for me.

I will do that subpaging when i will get the time. Know i am going to sleep.

About that problem talk with the software guru please. Sat Shri Akaal(Lucky 11:29, 7 April 2008 (MDT))

A few questions when you have any time

Sat Shri Akaal. Hari ji. I have two other questions, besides my questions on trying to understand the many Shaheed articles of late.

A few years back i asked Harbans Singh Lal about the significance of the umbrella in much Sikhi imagery or Architecture - he told me there was none or he didn't know of any. Yet, on every, or at least many, gurdwaras there is an umbrella with a rim of dangling drops just below the Khanda on the Nishan Sahib. I am looking at Lucky ji's Image:Topharmandir.jpg where one is featured. Is this nothing more than a decoration. The same sort of umbrella made its way into victorian design where it with a ring of prisms is part of many chandaliers.

I have always thought of this as a symbol for 'celestial' or God's authority yet Harbins Singh saying there was none.

The other question which is clearly visible in the same photo is, why is the Nishan Sahib not just a flag but also a cloth covering, seemingly continuous, for the Pole as well?

On a similar vein the pineapple that appears on the gates of manor houses along the east coast of America uttar, they are usually over doorways at the Christmas seasom in a floral or fruit display or wreath, as well. Reacently i learned, studying Chinese, that this is an old auspicious symbol used for welcome, my Chinese friend always buys one every two days for her restaurant's counter.

Very good wind and water (Feng Shui). Turns out that the old New England sea captains brought this custom back home and started the tradition in America. Then everyone immediately forgot why. On certain days as we have gone to eat at an Indian restaurant there are coconuts out side the doorway was not the presentation of a coconut with (2?) paise and a tilak part of the ceremony installing a new Sikh Guru? I read this in many stories but have not seen an explanation for same.

any thoughts would be appreciated. richardAllenwalla 21:04, 7 April 2008 (MDT)
