Welcome chaingang47. Interesting moniker. 47 Independence? day, or division day and chaingang an american term for the rural prison chain gangs of the south?

Who do you mean to attack and what are you trying to get across. Do you see Bhagat as a term of less rank than Guru. Your use of words like ediot. (is this a new term for stupid people on the net -- E-diots or just a spelling mistake) or words used to disparage another will most likely end in your message getting yanked and wishing people to hell won't help either.

Guru is from 2 syllables in sanskrit. gu = darkness, or if you will pooh or fecal matter. it is used to refer to man's 'darker' animalistic state. ruu means light, therefore anyone who teaches one out of stupidity could be called a guru. Ravidass is shown on these pages with a turban - showing that one person at least thinks he wore a turban.

There is God the Guru of whom Ravidas spoke, La or Allah or call it Waheguru or Nirguna, Ram, Bhagwan all just terms for the teacher of us all.

Then there are Sikh Gurus and Sikhs, the devotees of those Gurus and there decendants, ect. who have chosen to call them Gurus as well, so i don't get your beef.

Debate is and old and well practised form of teaching, beating those you seek to teach over the head with a laathi tends to cause resistance.

Which saucha sauda, the story of Guru Nanak and the Rishis or sadhus or the one in sarsa with the legal problems? regards Allenwalla 21:18, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
