THY Mission

To write 1429 pages of Gurbani in English, amounting to translating spirit of Prof Darshan Singh's DARPAN into English. This is the first page. It defines KHALSA.

Student's(Sikh's) Name 'KHALSA' evolved as under :-

1. About 900+ yrs back Baba Fareed gifted us the Tag > 'Naam :__________' 2. About 30 Yrs before Nanak, Kabir filled in the blank and the naming ceremony of 'Sikh People' was complete. 'Name:_________' got upgraded to 'Name: KHALSA' 3. About 30 Yrs after Kabir, Nanak formally defined 'Name: KHALSA' as....

He further penned a path of 38 commandments titled as 'JPU'. This was the path (PANTH) for Sikhs to realize their Lifelong mission of proving their worth by standing TRUE to their Name KHALSA.

4. About 200 year thereafter 10th Nanak formalized the political identity of Khalsa, initiated by Baba Fareed about 900+ years back. He declared KHALSA-PANTH (MoolMantar-Jpu) as a 'Universal Religion cum Nation' committed to nothing but service of Humanity.

He politically formalized the administrative structure and Martial Uniform of 'THY Own KHALSA Army'. The Uniform was 5 worldly items giving formal Political Identity to Sikh People as 'KHALSA-PANTH'. The Uniform is socially known across the world as 5 Ks :--

For Self Defense

3. Kirpan (appropriate weapon in sync with the time and environment)

4. Kachhhera (Appropriate Martial Uniform in Sync with time and environment)
