Naamdharis believe in the continuation of the Guru lineage in human form after Guru Gobind Singh ji left his mortal body. Founded by Bhai Ram Singh of Bhaini.

Namdharis beleive that when Guru Gobind Singh was about to depart the Earth and was sitting on his funeral Pyre, he told his singhs to turn around, and he ran away. They claim he lived to be over 100 years old, and passed on his lineage, not to Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib JI but to a man named Ram Singh.

My question would be, whilst men such as Banda Singh Bahadur had been captured, Ahmed Shah Abdali was attacking India, countless sikhs were being murdered, Misls were being formed (the basis of castes re-introduction) would Guru Gobind Singh have sat back?

Im not sure of timescales, if Namdharis beleive they are the true satgurus, why did they not stand up to the invaders?

The True Guru Granth Sahib, at that time stood by his sikhs, and always has done.
