- Kartarpur (Ravi) - Place where Guru Nanak, the founder of the Sikh faith, ascended to his heavenly abode. This place is now situated in Pakistan only about 2Km. from the Indo-Pak border on the right bank of river Ravi. The shrine or Samadh of Guru Nanak stands out as there is no habitation around.
