Harvinder Singh Anand is the Sikh mayor of a rich village in New York State, in the United States of America, called Laurel Hollow. He graduated from Punjab University with a degree in chemical engineering. After postgraduating at Hofstra University on Long Island, he became a businessman. He is said to be he first minority to be mayor of this 95-percent-white community.
