From here they left to travel to [[Rajasthan]]. Gurdwara Guru Nanak Varhi has been built to preserve the memory of this visit by the founder of [[Sikhism]]. The single room that has long stood to preserve the  memory of his visit has today grown into a huge Gurdwara.

Gurudwara Nanak Varhi or Nanak Wadi is a wonderful sikh shrine located in the heart of Vadodara City that marks the remembrance of Guru Nanak Sahib.

Vadodara, formerly Baroda is the third most-populated city in the Indian state of Gujarat after Ahmedabad and Surat. It was strategically situated at a junction of the main highways linking Gujarat with Rajputana and the Punjab in the north, Malwa and the Ganga valley in the north-east, Konkan in the south and Khandesh in the south-east.
