The [[Gurdwara]] was founded in 1934 by a police inspector Banta Singh. Religious celebrations include [[Kirtan]] and [[Guru ka Langar]] every Saturday. Suitable accommodation is available for visitors. In 2007, there are about 60 members of the [[Sikh]] community in the area.
