It is situated in district patiala in Vill Akarh. It is in the memory of Guru Tegh bahadur. Akarh is situated in between the road of sirhind to patiala near to tehalpura village. It is situated at outskirts of village.

Shri Guru Tegh bahadur arrived here in 1670(mutabak Samat 1727). That time Guru jee was on tour of [[Malva]] reigon. From Anandpur, Guru ji visits Kiratpur, Ropar, Kuraali, Gharooan, Jakhwali, Tehalpura and reached Akarh.

While visiting the [[Malva]] region  Shri [[Guru Tegh bahadur]] arrived here in 1670 (Mutabak Samat 1727). From Anandpur, Guru ji visits [[Kiratpur]], [[Ropar]], [[Kurali]], Gharooan, Jakhwali, Tehalpura and reached Aakrh.


When Guru ji crossed village akarh and reached the outskirts there was a Neem tree there. Nearer to the neem tree there was a small pond which have pure water. Guru jee watched the lonely place and stopped there and break the Datan from tree. There was a small tibba there from where a gursikh tarkhan comes out and did selfless service of guru ji. Guruji liked his service and ave him blessing of '''Naam''' and also advised him Kirat karna, Naam Japna and Vand Shaknaa.

But nobody came to see guru ji. Followers returned back and told guru jee that people were so rude here and nobody want to come. Then guru jee asked very politely that people here have ego(Akarh). Followers says that these people are egoistic and will egoisitic. Then this village got the name Aakarh.

But nobody came for Darshan of guru ji. Followers returned back and told guru jee that people were so rude here and nobody want to come. Then guru jee asked very politely that people here have ego(Aakrh). Followers says that these people are egoistic and will egoisitic. Then this village got the name Aakrh.


Tarkhaan Follower feel so bad about hearing the deed done by villagers. He fell on guru's feet scared that guru might give curse to whole village. He folded his hands and asked Guru jee that the people of village dunno know wat they are doing, please forgive them
