  • 1: .. loves to meet and embrace the True Guru and listens to the teachings imparted by Him. The faces of the Gursikhs are radiant and bright and in the Court of the Lord, they are approved and absorbed in the True Lord R-164/314/308/590/967/125


  • 2: .. chants and meditate constantly within his heart on the Name of the Lord and save themselves and save their families as well. S/he rises in the early morning hours and meditate on the Lord's Name. The Gursikhs love the Word of the Shabad; listen to the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises. R-165/286/305/314/246/259


  • 3: .. abstains from evil deeds and dwells forever in balanced restraint. S/he becomes Gurmukh and truthful. The Sikh of the Guru does not like falsehood. They are imbued with Truth; they love only Truth. Practicing truth, self-discipline and good deeds, they are enlightened. In whose mind the five enemies are destroyed by the Shabad; who practices Truth, and only Truth; lives the righteous life of Dharma; has eradicated doubt, fear and attachment; grows the crop of forgiveness; contentment, mercy and faith; and remain immaculately pure - no filth sticks to them.   • 4: .. sells his mind to the True Guru. S/he knows that the Bani, the Word of the True Guru, is true, absolutely true; their minds are filled with kindness. S/he knows that hopes and desires for transitory things are useless and that only Naam alone brings true health. R-165/308/41/254


  • 5: .. performs Sewa (selfless service), without thought of reward. They are pure of heart - their service is accepted by the Lord and they are in ecstasy; No filth sticks to them; R-286/28/230


  • 6: .. obeys the Guru's Teachings one hundred per cent and whose mind is stable; his (or her) doubts and wandering cease and they obtain a state of fearlessness; they shed their ego; attains the fourth state of higher consciousness; the Lord has come to dwell within their minds; their minds are illuminated and enlightened; S/he has conquered her/his mind,Ref-287/726/29/30/66/82/87


  • 7: .. plants ambrosial nectar, and obtains the Lord as their ambrosial fruit. They conquer their minds, become Gurmukhs and walk on the Guru's Path; they reflects deeply and contemplates; Happiness emanates from the Gurmukh; he never suffers pain; R-302/649/650/667/28/424


  • 8: .. is never lazy, who always reflects deeply and contemplates; never suffer bodily pain R-28/125


  • 9: .. runs away from sexual desire, anger and the company of evil people day and night and free from the power of sexual desire, anger and emotional attachment; who knows that pain & pleasure and honor & dishonor are both the same; remains detached from joy and sorrow, realizes the true essence in the world; renounce both praise and blame; seek instead the state of Nirvaanaa;
