ਰਾਜਨ ਰਾਮ ਰਵੈ ਹਿਤਕਾਰਿ ॥
राजन राम रवै हितकारि ॥
Rĝjan rĝm ravai hiṯkĝr.
One who lovingly chants the Name of the Sovereign Lord King,

ਰਣ ਮਹਿ ਲੂਝੈ ਮਨੂਆ ਮਾਰਿ ॥
रण महि लूझै मनूआ मारि ॥
Raṇ meh lūjẖai manūĝ mĝr.
fights the battle and conquers his own mind;

ਰਾਤਿ ਦਿਨੰਤਿ ਰਹੈ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤਾ ॥
राति दिनंति रहै रंगि राता ॥
Rĝṯ ḝinanṯ rahai rang rĝṯĝ.
day and night, he remains imbued with the Lord's Love.

ਤੀਨਿ ਭਵਨ ਜ੝ਗ ਚਾਰੇ ਜਾਤਾ ॥
तीनि भवन जढ़ग चारे जाता ॥
Ŧīn bẖavan jug cẖĝrė jĝṯĝ
He is famous throughout the three worlds and the four ages.

ਜਿਨਿ ਜਾਤਾ ਸੋ ਤਿਸ ਹੀ ਜੇਹਾ ॥
जिनि जाता सो तिस ही जेहा ॥
Jin jĝṯĝ so ṯis hī jėhĝ.
One who knows the Lord, becomes like Him.

ਅਤਿ ਨਿਰਮਾਇਲ੝ ਸੀਝਸਿ ਦੇਹਾ ॥
अति निरमाइलढ़ सीझसि देहा ॥
Aṯ nirmĝil sījẖas ḝėhĝ.
He becomes absolutely immaculate, and his body is sanctified.

ਰਹਸੀ ਰਾਮ੝ ਰਿਦੈ ਇਕ ਭਾਇ ॥
रहसी रामढ़ रिदै इक भाइ ॥
Rahsī rĝm riḝai ik bẖĝė
His heart is happy, in love with the One Lord.

ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸਬਦ੝ ਸਾਚਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥੧੦॥
अंतरि सबदढ़ साचि लिव लाइ ॥१०॥
Anṯar sabaḝ sĝcẖ liv lĝė. ||10||
He lovingly centers his attention deep within upon the True Word of the Shabad. ||10||

ਰੋਸ੝ ਨ ਕੀਜੈ ਅੰਮ੝ਰਿਤ੝ ਪੀਜੈ ਰਹਣ੝ ਨਹੀ ਸੰਸਾਰੇ ॥
रोसढ़ न कीजै अमढ़रितढ़ पीजै रहणढ़ नही संसारे ॥
Ros na kījai amriṯ pījai rahaṇ nahī sansĝrė.
Don't be angry - drink in the Ambrosial Nectar; you shall not remain in this world forever.

ਰਾਜੇ ਰਾਇ ਰੰਕ ਨਹੀ ਰਹਣਾ ਆਇ ਜਾਇ ਜ੝ਗ ਚਾਰੇ ॥
राजे राइ रंक नही रहणा आइ जाइ जढ़ग चारे ॥
Rĝjė rĝė rank nahī rahṇĝ ĝė jĝė jug cẖĝrė.
The ruling kings and the paupers shall not remain; they come and go, throughout the four ages.

ਰਹਣ ਕਹਣ ਤੇ ਰਹੈ ਨ ਕੋਈ ਕਿਸ੝ ਪਹਿ ਕਰਉ ਬਿਨੰਤੀ ॥
रहण कहण ते रहै न कोई किसढ़ पहि करउ बिनंती ॥
Rahaṇ kahaṇ ṯė rahai na koī kis peh karao binanṯī.
Everyone says that they will remain, but none of them remain; unto whom should I offer my prayer?

ਝਕ੝ ਸਬਦ੝ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਨਿਰੋਧਰ੝ ਗ੝ਰ੝ ਦੇਵੈ ਪਤਿ ਮਤੀ ॥੧੧॥
झकढ़ सबदढ़ राम नाम निरोधरढ़ गढ़रढ़ देवै पति मती ॥११॥
Ėk sabaḝ rĝm nĝm niroḝẖar gur ḝėvai paṯ maṯī. ||11||
The One Shabad, the Name of the Lord, will never fail you; the Guru grants honor and understanding. ||11||

ਲਾਜ ਮਰੰਤੀ ਮਰਿ ਗਈ ਘੂਘਟ੝ ਖੋਲਿ ਚਲੀ ॥
लाज मरंती मरि गई घूघटढ़ खोलि चली ॥
Lĝj maranṯī mar gaī gẖūgẖat kẖol cẖalī.
My shyness and hesitation have died and gone, and I walk with my face unveiled.

ਸਾਸ੝ ਦਿਵਾਨੀ ਬਾਵਰੀ ਸਿਰ ਤੇ ਸੰਕ ਟਲੀ ॥
सासढ़ दिवानी बावरी सिर ते संक टली ॥
Sĝs ḝivĝnī bĝvrī sir ṯė sank talī.
The confusion and doubt from my crazy, insane mother-in-law has been removed from over my head.

ਪ੝ਰੇਮਿ ਬ੝ਲਾਈ ਰਲੀ ਸਿਉ ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਸਬਦ੝ ਅਨੰਦ੝ ॥
पढ़रेमि बढ़लाई रली सिउ मन महि सबदढ़ अनंदढ़ ॥
Parėm bulĝī ralī sio man meh sabaḝ anand.
My Beloved has summoned me with joyful caresses; my mind is filled with the bliss of the Shabad.

ਲਾਲਿ ਰਤੀ ਲਾਲੀ ਭਈ ਗ੝ਰਮ੝ਖਿ ਭਈ ਨਿਚਿੰਦ੝ ॥੧੨॥
लालि रती लाली भई गढ़रमढ़खि भई निचिंदढ़ ॥१२॥
Lĝl raṯī lĝlī bẖaī gurmukẖ bẖaī nicẖinḝ. ||12||
Imbued with the Love of my Beloved, I have become Gurmukh, and carefree. ||12||
