ਝਕ੝ ਅਚਾਰ੝ ਰੰਗ੝ ਇਕ੝ ਰੂਪ੝ ॥
झकढ़ अचारढ़ रंगढ़ इकढ़ रूपढ़ ॥
Ėk acẖĝr rang ik rūp.
The One Lord is in all actions, colors and forms.

ਪਉਣ ਪਾਣੀ ਅਗਨੀ ਅਸਰੂਪ੝ ॥
पउण पाणी अगनी असरूपढ़ ॥
Pauṇ pĝṇī agnī asrūp.
He manifests in many shapes through wind, water and fire.

ਝਕੋ ਭਵਰ੝ ਭਵੈ ਤਿਹ੝ ਲੋਇ ॥
झको भवरढ़ भवै तिहढ़ लोइ ॥
Ėko bẖavar bẖavai ṯihu loė.
The One Soul wanders through the three worlds.

ਝਕੋ ਬੂਝੈ ਸੂਝੈ ਪਤਿ ਹੋਇ ॥
झको बूझै सूझै पति होइ ॥
Ėko būjẖai sūjẖai paṯ hoė
One who understands and comprehends the One Lord is honored.

ਗਿਆਨ੝ ਧਿਆਨ੝ ਲੇ ਸਮਸਰਿ ਰਹੈ ॥
गिआनढ़ धिआनढ़ ले समसरि रहै ॥
Giĝn ḝẖiĝn lė samsar rahai.
One who gathers in spiritual wisdom and meditation, dwells in the state of balance.

ਗ੝ਰਮ੝ਖਿ ਝਕ੝ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਕੋ ਲਹੈ ॥
गढ़रमढ़खि झकढ़ विरला को लहै ॥
Gurmukẖ ėk virlĝ ko lahai.
How rare are those who, as Gurmukh, attain the One Lord.

ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਦੇਇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੇ ਸ੝ਖ੝ ਪਾਝ ॥
जिस नो देइ किरपा ते सढ़खढ़ पाझ ॥
Jis no ḝėė kirpĝ ṯė sukẖ pĝė.
They alone find peace, whom the Lord blesses with His Grace.

ਗ੝ਰੂ ਦ੝ਆਰੈ ਆਖਿ ਸ੝ਣਾਝ ॥੭॥
गढ़रू दढ़आरै आखि सढ़णाझ ॥७॥
Gurū ḝuĝrai ĝkẖ suṇĝė. ||7||
In the Gurdwara, the Guru's Door, they speak and hear of the Lord. ||7||

ਊਰਮ ਧੂਰਮ ਜੋਤਿ ਉਜਾਲਾ ॥
ऊरम धूरम जोति उजाला ॥
Ūram ḝẖūram joṯ ujĝlĝ.
His Light illuminates the ocean and the earth.

ਤੀਨਿ ਭਵਣ ਮਹਿ ਗ੝ਰ ਗੋਪਾਲਾ ॥
तीनि भवण महि गढ़र गोपाला ॥
Ŧīn bẖavaṇ meh gur gopĝlĝ.
Throughout the three worlds, is the Guru, the Lord of the World.

ਊਗਵਿਆ ਅਸਰੂਪ੝ ਦਿਖਾਵੈ ॥
ऊगविआ असरूपढ़ दिखावै ॥
Ūgviĝ asrūp ḝikẖĝvai.
The Lord reveals His various forms;

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਅਪ੝ਨੈ ਘਰਿ ਆਵੈ ॥
करि किरपा अपढ़नै घरि आवै ॥
Kar kirpĝ apunai gẖar ĝvai.
granting His Grace, He enters the home of the heart.

ਊਨਵਿ ਬਰਸੈ ਨੀਝਰ ਧਾਰਾ ॥
ऊनवि बरसै नीझर धारा ॥
Ūnav barsai nījẖar ḝẖĝrĝ.
The clouds hang low, and the rain is pouring down.

ਊਤਮ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਵਾਰਣਹਾਰਾ ॥
ऊतम सबदि सवारणहारा ॥
Ūṯam sabaḝ savĝraṇhĝrĝ.
The Lord embellishes and exalts with the Sublime Word of the Shabad.

ਇਸ੝ ਝਕੇ ਕਾ ਜਾਣੈ ਭੇਉ ॥
इसढ़ झके का जाणै भेउ ॥
Is ėkė kĝ jĝṇai bẖėo.
One who knows the mystery of the One God,

ਆਪੇ ਕਰਤਾ ਆਪੇ ਦੇਉ ॥੮॥
आपे करता आपे देउ ॥८॥
Āpė karṯĝ ĝpė ḝėo. ||8||
is Himself the Creator, Himself the Divine Lord. ||8||

ਉਗਵੈ ਸੂਰ੝ ਅਸ੝ਰ ਸੰਘਾਰੈ ॥
उगवै सूरढ़ असढ़र संघारै ॥
Ugvai sūr asur sangẖĝrai.
When the sun rises, the demons are slain;

ਊਚਉ ਦੇਖਿ ਸਬਦਿ ਬੀਚਾਰੈ ॥
ऊचउ देखि सबदि बीचारै ॥
Ūcẖao ḝėkẖ sabaḝ bīcẖĝrai.
the mortal looks upwards, and contemplates the Shabad.

ਊਪਰਿ ਆਦਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਤਿਹ੝ ਲੋਇ ॥
ऊपरि आदि अंति तिहढ़ लोइ ॥
Ūpar ĝḝ anṯ ṯihu loė.
The Lord is beyond the beginning and the end, beyond the three worlds.

ਆਪੇ ਕਰੈ ਕਥੈ ਸ੝ਣੈ ਸੋਇ ॥
आपे करै कथै सढ़णै सोइ ॥
Āpė karai kathai suṇai soė.
He Himself acts, speaks and listens.

ਓਹ੝ ਬਿਧਾਤਾ ਮਨ੝ ਤਨ੝ ਦੇਇ ॥
ओहढ़ बिधाता मनढ़ तनढ़ देइ ॥
Oh biḝẖĝṯĝ man ṯan ḝėė.
He is the Architect of Destiny; He blesses us with mind and body.

ਓਹ੝ ਬਿਧਾਤਾ ਮਨਿ ਮ੝ਖਿ ਸੋਇ ॥
ओहढ़ बिधाता मनि मढ़खि सोइ ॥
Oh biḝẖĝṯĝ man mukẖ soė.
That Architect of Destiny is in my mind and mouth.

ਪ੝ਰਭ੝ ਜਗਜੀਵਨ੝ ਅਵਰ੝ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥
पढ़रभढ़ जगजीवनढ़ अवरढ़ न कोइ ॥
Parabẖ jagjīvan avar na koė.
God is the Life of the world; there is no other at all.

ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮਿ ਰਤੇ ਪਤਿ ਹੋਇ ॥੯॥
नानक नामि रते पति होइ ॥९॥
Nĝnak nĝm raṯė paṯ hoė. ||9||
O Nanak, imbued with the Naam, the Name of the Lord, one is honored. ||9||
