Neutral Responses

Sir this is bad problem in all wiki sites. They have to throw truth away for neutral responses. This is symbol of scary from falsehood. The Truth is written very much below in article and false is written above it. So this what we say achayi par burai ka dabaw.

well ya we should live with equality we should love all we should not say False = False, because this could hurt anyone and GUru Sahib says do not hurt anyone, if truth hurts then no problem speak lie or make truth neutral.

(Lucky 05:58, 12 January 2011 (EST))

Height of Selfishness of Sikhiwiki

In Sri Chand Article, few lines from guru granth sahib was added about Sri Chand which are removed by some people.

On one side sikhiwiki wants neutrality in articles on other side they want content which they like and removing that content shows a big manmatis are also in the way, who could kick guru granth sahib for any other thing. If this website is for few people to amend, or slave to some organization's belief, then it is bad source for correct inormation. What do you think?? kindly talk with organization about this (Lucky 04:03, 15 February 2011 (EST))

Bad at your part

It is bad at your part then. It feels like for maintaining TRP we will start ignoring truth? if such is there then gurus might not write against ritualism. Do you know many people talked with me about sri chand when i wrote gurbani lines. They just abused me and said bla bla things, when i gave them page number and line number they all shut their mouth and haven't replied thereafter. because they want Guru Granth Sahib also and Sri Chand also and both goes opposite to each other, as confirmed by gurbani.

I haven't deleted vies of scholars while ammending article but added guru granth sahib's views so that neutriality could be done but your wikisysop gurmustak or whosoever again made article opposite to guru granth sahib.

It feels like War between 3HO and Satta Balwand....lolzzzzzz.

Think and do ammending, i feel you could do that better then me or any 3ho person

(Lucky 06:32, 16 February 2011 (EST))

Add those lines to Baba Sri Chand's article now as this you have collected many authentic references which prove sri chand as rebel. if you want contradictory to be entered then tell. (Lucky 04:38, 18 February 2011 (EST))

Two Elderly Sikh American Men Shot in California

Sad news, Sikh elder Gentlemen shot in California. One has died. [1] Allenwalla 01:15, 8 March 2011 (EST)

Thanks

Bhai Sahib ji, You shoulder the heavy work, there is a great deal of work in writing a page; research, spelling, grammar and much more. It's like sweeping the whole of the Harmandar Sahib's Parikarma, then its easy for anyone, such as myself, to spot the one or two things out of place; it's always easier for the fresh eye when 99% of the work has been done - you give me far to much credit for my meager contributions.

It's hard not to be caught up in watching the news coming out of Japan, while there is great tragedy and suffering, people are showing the finest of mankind's qualities. A whole nation with no reports of vandalism, a baby found alive, a man found alive 9 miles at sea floating on a piece of his roof, people traveling from around the world to risk their lives, people with nothing sharing what little they have. Today a story of an almost starved dog that led rescuers back to its friend (another sicker, injured dog) that it had sat beside for days. Elders being carried by the young, a doctor working around the clock to save lives, who took a few minutes to see his wife and his newly born child, not to mention the 50 men risking their lives in an effort to avoid another Chernobyl or worse; I'm sure my wife and I are among the many millions who are moved to tears by such scenes of devastation and the 'spirit' of the Japanese and those coming to their aid; in person or in some other way. Advertising link

Sardarji, Reading a change to the page Sakhi of the Kara and Guru Gobind Singh, I noticed that User:Gurpiyar had placed a link to an ad. While I might like this ad it seems it would be more appropriate for the ad to be in the 'Support for SikhNet by' area.

Rather than just remove the ad myself, since users are often blocked, I'll leave a decision on this to you.

Ullus

Again I have to ask for your help.

In the page on the Sant Nirankaris the line

  • …spreading his blasphemy to the Ullus willing to listen. - is used. To my mind Ullu is the word for Owl in India where owls are thought to be 'stupid'. Such words seem to be out of place in these pages. I have a hard time believing that Guru Nanak or Guru Gobind Singh would refer to people in this way. I don't consider myself knowledgeable enough to know whether the word 'blasphemy' is the best word to use in the sentence.

Thanks, Allenwalla 19:32, 19 March 2011 (EDT)

Sikh related products

As long as the policy is fair to everyone and is not a problem I agree as it serves readers a few ads are helpful, but if there is ever a need driven by higher numbers or competition - a special page sounds like a good alternative. Additionally a page dedicated to such products would make them easier to find, rather than having them scattered through pages that everyone might not come across.

The ullu comment was taken care of already. Allenwalla 03:30, 21 March 2011 (EDT)

Sat Sri Akaal

How are you sir ji? I have met a person who have done awesome khoj of sri dasam granth history which yet was not covered by any previous scholar. He have researched that the Bani of Guru Gobind SIngh was existed in 1708, 1741, 1761, 1766, 1790, onwards. I said him to make articles on History of dasam granth for our website and he said he will do so. I also tell him to do give reference for making an article and do not condenm anti dasam people but give positive knowledge he have. He agreed doing that. He has given me various logics and said if Dasam Granth will be condenmed even from history we could not prevent Guru Granth Sahib's Guru Ship because in old histories guru granth sahib's GUru ship is mention in same book where dasam granth exist, and where dasam granth not exist, that book does not mention Granth shaib as guru but as pothi sahib. So i said him not to include controversy about Guru Granth Sahib but to write on Sri Dasam Granth for sikhiwiki. Hope we will get best refernced, authentic, researched, non controversial material from him.

How can audio be inserted in sikihiwiki like this in wikipedia -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attack_on_Pearl_Harbor#Media

Kindly tell take care

Kauda Bheel

Sardar ji, It appears cannibals are still running around the land where Guru Nanak once ran into Kauda. This story really is unbelievable.

Landowners no less, http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-south-asia-12989074. I can't imagine how the family feels about this.

Probably there is no law even from Sharia, that deals with cannibalism. Grave robbing surely must be illegal.

Sadly they have now confessed to have been digging up coffins for 10 years.

Living in the forest, how will you find Him? Not until you remove corruption from your mind.

Reading this morning, I was reminded of the hunger strike (fast to death) of Anna Hazare, the man who single-handedly is attempting to root out corruption from the 'mind' of a whole nation. Are you following this story, I wonder if it is even being reported in the English press?

History Of Dasam Granth

Hello Sir,

I am going to Start an article i.e History of Dasam Granth. I have collected the texts All Books of 17th Century and 18th Century.

I will mention all facts, which even could hurt Sentiments of Anti Dasam people as all facts are against history which they have researched.

Even these facts are from those historical books which if ignored will ruin whole sikh history. I am amazed at some of our Anti Dasam Historians like Harjinder Singh Dilgeer ji. On one side he quoted Gurbilas Koer Singh for history of Guru Granth Sahib and on other side he ignored all 10 - 12 lines mentioned in same source telling about all Compositions of Guru Gobind Singh. This is enough of Lie i could find. When i researched through all histories with help of Some Gurmukhs.

This article will be a huge hit, with no doubt as it would contains all referenced facts with all screen shots.

What i want is that no one intrude the facts which would be mentioned in this historical article.

Anti Dasam Campaign was started in mid 19th century around 1939 by lal Singh and Teja Singh and reason was their hatered toward Hinduism. This movement spread in 20th century by people who follow them and moreover he attacked NAMDEV bani by saying all Bhagat Bani is not Gurbani. (Historical Point, may not be of your interest, still wanna share)

Some Sikhs made of hate, other made of Wisdom. We want Sikhs(with Wisdom) not by hating other religion.

on Dasam Granth we apply Gurmat Dictionary not Hindu's Scholars dictionary. So our interpretations for all Mythological Characters is different.

Now coming on point. As Anti Dasam people are spreaded widely on e media they will try to spoil this article, for sure.

I want you to kindly change material gramatically or what you feel looks more violent(change to less violent, but do not change meaning which want to convey). Do not allow anti dasam people to enter in article, and tell them to have discussion on discussion pages. If anyone intrude take strict action against them.

There will be many sub articles of this main article which contains detailed information of those historical books claims dasam bani present much before as preached by anti sikh elements today.

What you think are you ready for Historical Truth on base of Historical Granths? or should i see some other server to put Research?

Thank you for your kind attention!

Sat Sri Akal, Hari Singh Ji! (I can't assure if it's correct expression or not.)

Most of all, thank you for your kind attention to my translation. To be honest, I didn't assure that my translation is proper work, so I couldn't make a main page of 시희굝(Sikhism). But you helped me, and I got good surroundings for translating original pages.

Of course, I haven't yet been a Sikh and My English is poor to contribute to Sikhi Wiki. However, I appreciate this work if I can contribute to Sikhism and Sikhi Wiki, because Sikhism is the most attractive religion to me among what I've ever studied. Although I'm not sure that I can do this work spending much time, I'll try to do it as much as possible.

Thank you again and I sincerely hope your goodness and prosperity of Sikhi Wiki from Thakshin Korea.

P.S This is just quietly but I may become a Sikh of Thakshin Korea when my mind is prepared enough. I expect to visit to Harmandar Sahib :)

Dear Hari Singh Ji.

I checked your message and thank you for your willing works. You said that you want it that I don't mind, but literally, I don't mind at all. It was my pleasure, veer ji.

I ask for your help now and for ever.

Thank you.

Additionally, if calling me my pseudonym is easier than calling me my autonym, do as you wish. It was also given to me by my Sikh yar and I want it that you don't feel calling my name difficult. --Youngjun Jung 09:27, 17 May 2011 (EDT)

A new policy or a decision by a new user?

Bhai Sahibji, I hope you and your family are well.

Today I noticed a new user [Gghatore] has decided, without any discussion, to set a new policy. So far he/she has removed the illustration/s from the page on Guru Nanak Dev. As this might be only the start, I wanted to make you aware of the change.

Your views about it

Sometimes we use adjective with some words which makes feel that word have no greatness in itself for example:

1) Gursikh -> Devout Gursikh, as Gursikh is always devout 2) Gurmat -> Tatt Gurmat, as Gurmat is always Tatt, what is fake gurmat? 3) Great Devotee -> as devotee is always great, what is small devotee? and so on.

Dhann Dhann Satgur Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Maharaaj ji <---- When we say SATGUR TEGH BAHADUR, itself imples that he is dhann dhann and maharaaj(jis nun bakshe sifat salah nanak patshah patshah and sat purakh jis janeya satgur tis ka naao).

I think you understand what i want to convey. The words in Gurbani like Gurmat, Gurmukh, Satgur etc etc etc. already are so great wordss that it does not require any adjective.

General Talk, what you feel ? Kindly share your great views <--- see again great!!!! :) (Lucky 02:20, 31 May 2011 (EDT))

response by Gghatore

Sardarji, I happened to note that Gghatore, as a new user made the same mistake many of us have made (responding to others on our own talk pages) as newbies to this forum. He/she possibly had no idea who was writing?

Here are some thing to substantiate: http://www.sikhiwiki.org/index.php/Idol_Worship

Also Gurbani explains that the picture of the Guru is his “Word”, Gurbani, which a Sikh is to love: 1॥"Meditate on the image (i.e. enshrine the feet) of the Guru within your mind. Let your mind accept the Word of the Guru's Shabad, and His Mantra (as the highest and pure Mantras). (The Guru’s Shabad is the Guru’s image), enshrine (this) image of the Guru Guru's feet within your heart. (Recognizing the Guru as Waheguru’s roop, image) bow in humility forever before the Guru, the Supreme Lord God. ||1||"(Ang 864)

Perhaps, this helps? Allenwalla 21:59, 31 May 2011 (EDT)

May I ask a question?

Dear Hari Singh Ji.

SSA, I always wish your happiness and peace. Nothing but, when I read the Korean book about Sikhism, I got a question about it.

In case of Christianity, there are so many supernatural situations of their God in their bible. And I know there are some controversies whether they actually happened or not. Then, I found that the similar stories exist about Guru Nanak in Sikhism.

Of course, the teaching of Gurus is so important in Sikhism that most Sikhs respect and obey it. But is there any controversy about them? I wonder how Sikhs accept the stories of supernatural situations about Guru Nanak and other Gurus.

I'll wait for your answer. Most of all, I hope that it's not a rude question about Sikhism and Sikhs.

Sincerely, --Youngjun Jung 11:04, 6 June 2011 (EDT)

Interesting article

Bhai Sahib ji, this will probably not be of interest on Sikiwiki, but I thought you might enjoy this brief history of the 'other punjab', if you can put up with being labeled as an infidel and perhaps thrown into the lump category of Hindu (seems most musalmen, at least those writing in Pakistan don't think of Sikhism as a distinct religion.

Allenwalla 22:56, 6 June 2011 (EDT)

Sorry, must have been late.

Please excuse me, I apparently forgot to make a link. I think this was the story I was referring to.

That was exactly what I wondered.

Dear Hari Singh Ji,

Most of all, thank you so much for your kind reply. Unlike your worry, that was exactly what I wondered. And you explained so easy to grasp that I could get it more easily :)

However, I'm so sorry that I couldn't work what I had translated because of mistiming, these days. I believe you understand my pitiful excuse, and sincerely want to finish it soon. You know, I'm so pleased when I can contribute to Sikhism.

Anyway, thank you for your help again, and I'll always pray to God for your happiness, Hari.

Sincerely,

So plants meat is allowed only??

-> what is meat according to gurbani?
-> There are four forms of organisams defined. Now please make diet chart from guru granth sahib and tell us which form of meat gurbani advice to eat?
-> Killing plants life(for eating) take to sachkhand and killing animal life take to narak??

well keep these questions aside just tell me Why you scare of those lines? are they misleading the topic or topic itself is misleading?? those lines presents a common view that gurbani believes that all forms plants, animals, fungus etc. have life. My focus was to present to people that gurbani believes four types of organisams too. The article continues with what type of organisams gurbani suggested to eat which was written by 3HO.

I don't have any problem with that view, i am not animal meat freak and ya i am not plant meat freak too, so i don't think there must be any problem in article or i don't think that line mislead article.

and do listen to these videos of professor darshan singh(whose article is created here with high esteem), sukhwinder singh mandi gobindgarh(description disliked by pundits), giani sant singh maskeen(very nice described), akal takhat rehat maryada. Even during amrit sanchaar it is adviced one can eat meat. Even Damdami taksaal said that when nothing is there for survival one could eat meat(they love to go to hell), nihung jathebandis allowed meat. Now people who could not think outside well made by harbhajan singh yogi cannot understand this chapter.

All interpretatiuons in that article have nothing to take with meat issue at all. Those interpretations in english are pretty bad, and now all takhats are coming out with new and logical and inline with gurmat interpretations as they all accepted the fact that all translations, interprtetations done previously have nothing to take with gurmat.

Take Care, after sometime you will be speaking inline with gurmat that Gurbani is not diet chart, and gurbani believes life in those forms. Now if you say that Murdaar is only animal not plant and meat is only animal not plant not fungi not algae. It's your wish. Guru does not have such narrow thinking.

we have discussed much on meat before i have no mood on discussing on it. So i just put a line which is inline with gurmat and whose removal tells that you feel relucse believing that life is in those forms. . . . .

Take care, have to go somewhere so typed fastly. enjoy plants life and me also enjoying the same, today i we made bharthaa of brinjal, roasted brinjal. looks off na. sorry i have done paap by killing that. i will definately go to dojak :( (Lucky 13:18, 4 July 2011 (EDT))

No professor is required to understand Gurbani

One need understanding of words to understand this. There are many things in gurbani to discover, many Spiritual Idioms, Phrases and so on. It is gurmukhi language not Punjabi Language. It uses Krishna for Mann and Raam for Antar Atma. It uses Ajamall for Mann and Bhibhikshan for Antar Atama.

as per you said i will interpret single line and tell you that it is not at all related to meat issue.

Be reluctant dont take bhaang, sura paan and Machuli...else your pilgrimages fasts and rituals will go to hell. ya do take chicken it is not mentioned right?? well kiddin!!!!

SSA, Bhai Sahib ji, for the second time after spending time correcting an article, I have been prevented from editing by an automatic intervention after which having filled in the form -- nothing happened. ie. the form is not working. Thank you, Allenwalla 11:25, 18 November 2011 (CST)

Sardar Ji, Unfortunately this new system is not allowing any edits

Very frustrating, would appreciate any help with this problem

a story of interest

Since the new devise doesn't allow any editing, I can at least ad a link to a story you probably are aware of already. From dawn news: http://www.dawn.com/2011/11/21/wear-your-kirpan-at-london-2012.html

Problems editing

Bhai Sahib ji, I had a suspicion that you might be in Kenya or India, at least away from home. India, I'm afraid will remain a dream for us, but virtual visiting isn't that bad.

re: problems using the system

If I attempt to edit more that a few words, I get a page telling me that some phrase I have written has triggered a new protective system. I am instructed to, enter a series of letters of both cases (usually 2 words and a comma, with a space between) but after many tries each time I press enter (whatever the button says) it simply returns to the same page, same words (my entries gone). Trying to get around this, I have found, if I only correct a word or two I get a simple math problem that does work. This is of course, mildly frustrating. I know this probably happens to anyone who edits more than a few words and given the pranksters and people who know their opinion is the 'correct' opinion, etc., in the world today, is probably necessary. Not mentioning people up to more serious mischief, including hopeful advertisers.

Over the years, I have learned to edit only a few paragraphs at a time, because the system sometimes logs one out after 10 minutes; sometimes only 2 minutes; occasionally an hour or more. If the box worked, it wouldn't be much of a problem, but having to do it every paragraph could get to be boring.

Thanks and Harvinder Singh.

Thanks, I will try that. I just noted you were on and I wanted to have you check this change to the Harvinder Singh article. Watching the event on youtube, I was shocked to see Harvinder pull out his Kirpan and slash his wrist. Then I realixed the knife was dull and could not make a cut. Given there was no sound of his words, I assume he did the wrist cut while he made the threat.

I am sure there are those who think his was a 'heroic' act, but to me brandishing his Kirpan like that was very upsetting to me. I realize this could lead to calls to band Kirpans at doors to public offices. Anyway I thought that anyone watching the film should know why the knife did not leave a cut. Perhaps, this maynot be good to point out? Anyway leaving mention of the Kirpan info out, the para graph below corrects other problems with the paragraph. Also wanting to make a link to the 5 Ks, I notice that while the article had 5Ks the title had 5ks. I could not change the title to 5Ks, as I was informed the article already existed. So I changed it to 5Ks (5 Kakkars), I hope you will chane this to the best spelliing, as changed a search for 5ks still finds the article.

Thanks, Allenwalla 04:49, 26 November 2011 (CST)

Harvinder Singh, a truck driver in his thirties, came into light after incidence happened at NDMC Centre in New Delhi where he slapped 71 year old, Minister of Agriculture and Minister of Consumer Affairs, Sharad Pawar, as singh was upset with the growing corruption and soaring inflation in the country. After Slapping Sharad Pawar, he kept shouting slogans against rising price and corruption and as several men were pulling him away, he brandished a small knife. Waving it in the air he threatened to kill politicians accused of being involved in corruption cases. As he made the threat he slashed the knife across his left wrist, but as the knife's edge was dull (a small Kirpan, one of the five articles of faith worn by all baptised Sikhs) the Kirpan made no cut. Being taken away by police, Singh said that he was not worried about the consequences. Harvinder was booked under section 309-323-353-506. The incidence happened when Pawar was leaving the premises after attending a literary function on 24 November 2011. The attacker is also said to have assaulted former telecom minister Sukhram on Saturday 19 November 2011. Reacting to the incident, Pawar called it stupid, saying that he didn't make much out of it.

Harvinder Singh, Transporter

Sharadchandra Govindrao Pawar(Marathi: शरदचंदढ़र गोविंदराव पवार; born 12 December 1940), popularly known as SAHEB(साहेब), is the president of the Nationalist Congress Party which he founded in 1999, after separating from the Indian National Congress. He has previously held the posts of Minister of Defence and Chief Minister of Maharashtra and currently serves as Minister of Agriculture and Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India.

The attack was condemned by the Indian Government, as well as by Sikh organizations. Anna Hazare, the Corruption Crusader firstly asked that if Pawar was hit only once, then he said that in democracy it is not good to attack, but government should also take care of people so that they do not become angry. Singh has been praised on social media websites, such as Facebook, twitter and on YouTube, with most of the comments on online news sites being in favor of Mr. Singh's action. While offering him their support, comments citing his courage have suggested that the slap be treated not as one coming from a Sikh or a mentally ill person, but as a collective slap coming from the Common People.

Cannot edit

I tried again to edit an article this morning, my effort of 45 minutes disappeared replaced by the captcha, but it had no words. Several refreshings stayed the same.

The form suggests I ask to be white listed, is that possible?

Problems editing

Bhai Sahib ji, thanks for your efforts, I was able to make a few minor changes in wording, but after working a little longer, again I got the notice I had attempted to to do some mischief. The boxes had words, rather letters to type in that are not in my key set.

Thanks for your help, will try again later.

Dropped

Now I sign in , do lest than 2 minutes of edit (adding some missing punctuation marks) and 3 times, as soon as I press 'save page' - I was no longer signed in.

Not even a comma

SSA, Tonight I could stay logged on for minutes, but trying to add a comma, caused me to be flagged. Allenwalla 02:31, 17 December 2011 (CST)

once again

Earlier tonight I attempted to do a bit of editing. After about ten minutes of simplifying some sentences, I pushed the show preview button and got a "captcha interruption".

I filled in the words and saw my changes, then I saw some additional marks that weren't needed. So after deleting the marks and noting that I was still logged in I pushed save page, only to be told I couldn't edit as my log in had disappeared. This gets a bit frustrating, but I suppose others are having the same trouble.

Hello Sir

How are you? Hope everything goes fine.

Want to inform you that it is very difficult to operate Sikhiwiki these days:

  1. Unnecessary logout within 10 minutes. I have written big article and it was not saved and i just kept hand on my head, from now i will write it in word pad.
  2. Image verification and very rigid verification. i need to keep eyelids open to focus what is written.
  3. Punjabi text on sikhiwiki is not at all displaying properly. It is showing unicode mistakes even tried on various browsers.

there are other problems too. Please inform to technicians. May god bless you. (HarpreetSingh 12:35, 19 December 2011 (CST))

Sardar ji, after spending a half hour writing a few sentences lamenting that Panjabi in either Gurmiki, devanagiri or roman script does not appear as a choice on GOOGLE TRANSLATE then copying the text from my clipboard to Sikhwiki (having just signed in) I was again logged out by the system 3 minutes later. The usual warning that I was not allowed to edit/sans being logged on anymore.

Trying again

Dalbir Singh to Hari Singh

Dear Hari Singh I am slightly new to the wiki thing so I get confused with some of the tags and codes. A few things that need abit of sorting out is the Guru Gobind Singh sakhis don't display properly under each sakhi like they do under Guru Nanak Dev jis you can see from my history I tried to sort it out, it might be some admin coding. Also could you include more shortcut buttons like wiki has for things like quotes there are quite a few sakhis I have in various sources I am considering to upload. Some of Guru Nanak sakhis and Guru gobind singh sakhis are mixing up. Also don't know if you could install some forum compontents which are in forum boards for easier posting and discussions or maybe to set up a sister site in which we can take issues forth into. About Meat Issue and Citations

It is obvious that citations would be required, for those points and it would be best if those are provided, if same rule should be apply to every article, not only the article which we are interested then accuracy will go to new level. I appreciate your step. Some of citations are in preachings of Sant Singh Maskeen, but it is in audible form, Well let's come to point.

As valid historical sources are quoted(named) in those lines, from where we(Sikhs) take out many(most or All) of events related to Sikh history. What more information Administrator will like to add there, other than name of sources?

Proper Lines and Chapters? or required proper texts?

Upto what time administrators will keep those lines there in article? as it gives feeling that administrators are eager to remove it? and it take time to recollect the sources for this purpose.

Thank You

(HarpreetSingh 11:47, 26 March 2012 (CDT))

Thank you for your message

Yes i know that Admin could not depend on unreliable quotes and accept gurmat in totality thats why they could not accept Sri Chand as rebel because Gurbani states something else, neutriality is maintained because of 3HO brothers. The whole website have so much unreliable and everything need to be citated, and we know this and will continue work on it.

As Gurbani is not diet chart, so neither it believe or rejects thought of animal food eating and shabads which are quoted are always out of context as you can always see and study the whole we get answer.

As you suggested that meat eaters to go upto cannabalism, where on one side Gurbani say this is last porhi(Human body - IS PORHI TE JEY NAR CHOOKEY), but in case of other Animals and Plants they need to transmigrate to new form, animal and plants have no chances of reached to supreme till he get Human form(as per gurbani) (i know now you will say why not kill whole animals and destroy plants? Sir, when Hukam comes he do that, whether through us or with other means, what we could not think), let's not continue this matter any forward, there is different in thoughts not due to tastes but due to outdated Vaishnavic intrusions.

In My opinion, whole article of Guru Granth Sahib on Meat is totally misquoted and put on wrong lines, which have no relation with issue. And two weeks are not enough for me, as no doubt that i am devout to Sikhi, not to Wikies. So i have removed those thoughts and bringing them to talk page.

Article is not against Gurmat at all, and your and mine thoughts are nothing, when our own Sikh Rehat maryada is against your thought, and as you are not follower of it, including our prestigious sikhneties so saying this keeps no significance.

Historical evidences, do exists but i will not share.

  • My opinion we are eating flesh(mass), thats why we are living, you believe only Animal is MAAS
  • We are killing and taking life, thats why we are living but you believe only killing animal is killing
  • Gurbani believe life in all forms plants or animals but you believe life in animals only
  • Gurbani do not want we to get into tastes, whether animal flesh or plant but you believe taste is related to animal products only
  • Animal Food have no effect on spirituality but you believes it is easy to go to sachkhand eating plant life
  • We are not Slave to food, we take it for our body only but you take it for mind?

and Yes, Gurus have updated thought and science is with gurmat not gurmat is with science, at least, does not with outdated Vaishvanic. What food Gurus took, is historical point need to mentioned because demand of article else it is not required at all.

  • TOAA ANN KAMAAD KAPAHA, TOAA TRIBHAVAN GANNA,
  • TOAA KAHON MAIN BOHO BIDH ACHAA, TOAA BOHOT BIKAARA
