VJKKVJKF, Sikhi is about the truth. The truth is this guy has convictions, and you are promoting him.

Bhai Sahib ji, Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh

Many thanks for your changes to the above article; I have had to revert the changes that you made recently as they do not comply with the aims and purposes of this site; Bhai Sahib, this is not a news website. It is a website which promotes Sikhi and Sikhs. I accept that Sikhs do criminal things and that this does not help us or the community generally. However, if you want to read the news and matter of this kind then you would go to a news website or to a newspaper; if you want to learn about Sikhi or know about Sikhs then you would come to Sikhiwiki.

Further, Bhai Sahib, when the issues are over 20 years old, as Sikhs we have a duty to forgive and "move on" especially when the person has reformed; I ask you to recall the sakhi of the "40 mukta" from our history; deserter were forgiven in an instant by Guru Gobind Singh! We have to review our position when a person has reformed and is doing positive work for the community; for a Sikh it is not correct to continue to punish someone for an indefinite period. I do not know Mr Rana but I do not want to engage in "ninda" as the Guru speaks against this practise of 'Ninda. The Sikh need to adhere to Sikhi values and I fear that mentioning issues which are probably near 30 years old does not benefit anyone and creates a unhealthy environment of reform for people who may have made mistakes in the past.

I hope you will accept that this rule applies to every item and article that we carry on this site and that this is the way that this website has progressed in the last 5 years; we are not making an exception in the case of Mr Rana. Bhai sahib, I mean no offence; if this message cause you any bitterness, I apologise to you for that; please feel free to reply to me at my user talk page. Kind regards, Hari Singhtalk 00:04, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
