Many thanks for your message. Unfortunately apart from a program that transliterates Punjabi words into English, I don't believe that a English to Punjabi facility exists. This is project waiting for some budding Punjabi software engineer! A few basic Punjabi dictionaries exist that may assist but I am sorry to say that the ground is pretty barren in this arena.
Below are a few sites which have Sikhi information in Punjabi:
- SGPC publishes a monthly Gurmat Prakash
- Guru Granth Darpan translation of holy Granth in Punjabi
- Aam Sikh - Blog in English and Punjabi
- sikhmarg
- 5abi itihasak
- likhari - non-religious site
- sikhpress - Gurmat veechar
Unfortunately, as you say, most Punjabi sites are news sites and pretty poor at that function in any event. Hope this helps a little. Regards, Hari Singhtalk 01:01, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
