also re Pul kanjri - the link would seem to be a good start on an article. Since there is a name, if there is a email address you could ask permission and quote relevant part of letter.

Bhai sahib ji, Welcome to Sikhiwiki.
Also, i don't know why but most articles start with title in bold, this is probably because many articles were first copied from encyclopedia articles.

I saw your page on the village of Daroli Bhai‎. I tried to add in the links to several articles, as this is where the first son of Guru Hargobind Sahib was born. I also added the photo of Gurdwara Daroli Bhai. Do you have a photo of the others Gurdwaras in the village(s). Is Gurdwara Daroli Bhai also known as Gurdwara Baba Gurditta ji or are they different Gurdwaras?
Also the guidelines ask us not to use all caps, excepting PEPSU, GSS, AIDS, ect. -  i forget the word for these things.

Please check to see if the article is correct. Where does Patti Kamal fit in, is this another village. What does Kamal mean?
While you may erase page, most people don't, of course nothing is lost as it stays in history.

Thank you sir for your message. As i do not know how to reply so i am writing here only. Patti means street, as i already edited in the entry. Gurudwara baba gurditta ji is also mentioned as gurudwara daroli bhai in your entries. There are two more gurudwaras in the village.
Khalsa ji,

it is my ancestral village and i have nt been there since 10 years since my grandfather passed away and i was raised elsewehre so can not quickly recall the names of other two.
I have added a link to Sikhchannel to the bottom of the mainpage. I am checking the other site - tvunetworks.com and will get back to you soon. I cannot find any Sikhi channel here - does it have any? Thanks for your help again. Regards, Hari Singhtalk 02:34, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

Dear Khalsa ji

Sat Sri Akal, I just woke my computer up to look at the news and it opened on your page where I had left the note, otherwise I would not have seen that you had written back.
Many thanks for your message; I will tread carefully based on your very appropriate message. Now a very polite letter will go to the school. I am most grateful for your calm and keen observation. To return mail just click on the blue highlighted word (in this case my takhallus Allenwalla. That will take you to my page User talk:Allenwalla - at the top of that page there are several tabs:
*user page - this is where you put any info you wish about yourself - where you are from, country you live in, hobbies, photos - some people keep a list of what articles they have done, ect. Lately people have been leaving it blank.
* discussion - click on this tab and then you get the correspondence page of people who edit here

*edit - clicking here opens the persons page for editing (the whole page) - if you do that you can scroll  to the bottom, then do two returns (mac) enter (other pcs) and then type ==topic== - then return/enter and write your message.

*edit, +

clicking on the + sign makes it easier, that will automatically give you a box with topic field and a message box and put your message at the bottom of a person's talk (discussion) page. signing  your posts with  shift/4 tildes automatically signs and dates your messages.

that puts a message on the person's screen the next time they log in. None of this appears if you do not log in - edit, ect.

I learned what little I know here on editing from noticing how someone did a particular thing by looking at the edit box for the given page. Of course knowing HTML makes all of this simple - several of the people who regularly contribute here are code experts.

I had thought that Patti meant address. Kamal is the word I was wondering about. Do you still have any relatives or ties to the home village?Allenwalla 22:27, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
Hari Singh is the person who keeps this all together, his page User talk:Hari singh has, under 2. Active Users as at 20 April 2008 all those who regularly participate on Sikhiwiki.
