The Government of Pakistan has accepted demands from its 50,000 strong Sikh community to register their marriages under the Anand Karaj ceremony and has agreed to introduce the Anand Marriage Act in line with the Anand Marriage Act 1909 that was passed by the British in the subcontinent nearly hundred years ago.....
