It is very unfortunate that the sikhs supporting unshorn hair are portrayed in this article as Orthodox Sikhs. user:sarbjeet_1313me

The short beard

Haven't seen the film, but interesting that the big objection was to the trimmed beard and not to the fact, unmentioned, that the hero is so clumsy (doing Stupid things?) that a whole village buys plane tickets just to get rid of him. Hard for me to believe that this can be a positive portrayal. And they send him after a don (a gangster or goonda King as in the Sanjay Dutt film Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.). why would they want Lucky back, perhaps Lucky wasn't a Sikh. And would the village fool not be smart enough to see through this plan. I will have to see the film maybe then I can understand what Sarbjeet ji is talking about (who are the orthodox Sikhs) and why this can be seen as a positive role. I guess he falls short of Clouseau or Mr. Bean in the damage he causes.
