my middle name is allen it has been passed for many generations down the fathers side of family , who came from england hundreds of years ago. The Alans who crossed the channel and also split to head south into spain and crossed at Jabal Tĝriq (جبل طارق) over to the Atlas mtns. and Morrocco (where they put up a @#*@# good fight against Islams' invasion, have always been of great interest to me - all have seemed to be mountain men who took to the high grounds. Since learning of Guru Nanak i have always felt most at home among the Sikhs i have come to know and love.

They are different from Aryan race.Jats are one of the Scythian clans.
 
*Jats were Called Chandal in Past times. Which meant they were out of the Varna System and that they were lower than the Shudras and were Considered Untouchables.  
But Guru Gobind Singh ji Changed all that by Give Sikhs a Sovereignty. While majority Sikhs were Jatts.
