This Gurudwara was constructed by Mahant Bachiter Singh,the 12th Mahant of Gurudwara Nangali Sahib (Poonch) in the memory of Sant Mela Singh ji.The main motive to establish this Gurudwara was to spread sikhi in Jammu This Gurdwara is situated at Digiana Jammu. Inside the premises a Dasatkari Ashram was set up to give training to sikh youths and childerens.Orphan sikh childeren are trained with kirtan,path recitations etc. The youths trained in this Ashram are doing seva as Granthis and Kirtan Jathas at different Gurdwaras of India. This Gurdwara is popular by Gurdwara Digiana Ashram.
