Gurudwara Sri Charan Kamal Sahib.jpg

Gurdwara Charan kamal is situated in the Basti Shekh Area of Jalandhar City In Jalandhar District where Miri De Malak Sri (Guru Hargobind Sahib ji) accepted the request of Shekh Darvesh to visit with him at this place. At the place where Sri Bhora Sahib is situated, Guru Sahib had a discussion with Sheikh ji. Near to this place is situated Gurudwara Sri Patshahi Chevin. The Sheikh knowing that Mughal authorities might question him concerning his meeting with the Guru is said to have taken the time to put on a blindfold, during the meeting, so that he could 'honestly' swear that he had never laid eyes on the Sikh Guru. Obviously he never expected them to ask, perhaps, if he had ever met with Guru Hargobind. Perhaps this was a case of the reported Shia practise of allowing themselves to lie to Sunnis, to keep themselves safe. In Christians call this the sin of omission.
