It is said that the women lore of Patti Kamal did enormous sewa of the 6th guru and menfolk did not. Guru ji became so happy with the bhagti of these women that he blessed the  women of this Patti (village) and said that the women of Patti Kamal will always rule in their families. (as told to me by my grandmother).

Gurdwara Daroli Bhai

Daroli Bhai Ki is a village located about 14 kilometers west of Moga in Moga district. This was the place where Baba Gurditta the first son of Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib ji and his wife Mata Damodari was born in 1613.

According to local folklore a woman named Daroli who was once a dancer with the Mughals was rewarded some land for her talent.

It is said that the women lore of Patti (Street) Kamaal did enormous sewa of the 6th guru and menfolk did not. Guru ji became so happy with the bhagti of these women that he blessed the women of this Patti and said that the women of Patti Kamaal will always rule in their families (as told to me by my grandmother).
