Thus he was a phuphar (Punjabi for uncle, in the sense of a father's brother in-law) of Guru Gobind Singh. Bhai Sadhu had 5 sons; Jit Mall, Gulab Chand, Sango Shah, Mahri Chand and Ganga Ram.
