Battle of Kiratpur was final battle faught between local rulers of Ropar and Guru Hargobind ji. The battle preceding Battle of Padiala.
Reason
When guru ji was in powad area while returning from kurukshetra and moving toward kiratpur. Some hostile local rulers and pathans of ropad were planning to attack guru sahib. But Sikhs of that area controlled the situation by fighting with them. When guru ji reache the place called padiala he gave blessings to martyered sikhs.
Then Guru ji moved toward Brahmin majra where guru ji got news of a brahmin's wife snatched by local rulers.
