Basarke Gillan ((31.572°N 74.772°E)) is a village in Amritsar district. It is located 13 km (8 miles) south-west of city of Amritsar. This is the village where Guru Amar Das, the third Sikh Guru was born.

The village is located off the Amritsar-Baba Budha Road and the nearest Railway Station is at Chheharta which is 5Km away.
