Sandhu[1] (Punjabi: ਸੰਧੂ) is a second largest clan as well as surname of Sansi Rajput Jatt people of Punjab. The largest clan is Sidhu-Brar. Members of the Loi Jat clan historically came from the Sidhu-Brar clan. The Loi Jat clan are known for being Nagi Jats (the purest Jats). Its member mainly lives in Punjab region (East Punjab and West Punjab) and also abroad as they migrated overseas. As of 1881 census, there were 135732 Sandhus.[1][2]
