Talk:Replica of Golden Temple

There is no such thing as an exact replica of a person or thing. The trouble seems to be in someone claiming it to be exact. The bricks are of different material, dimensions probably differ, this temple has not been destoyed, repaired and rebuilt. The Gurus did not sit at this Gurdwara and Ranjit Singh or Gen Hari Singh Nalwa never added funds for its embellishments. Any fool can see that the temple only resembles the original and has none of its history.

Anyone starting such rumors is causing the trouble and up to no good. If someone has said this is the equal and just as good that is a person out to start trouble, somewhat akin to the guys who lie about someone saying a page of the Qur'an has been burnt, has a war started when the whole thing was a lie just to cause trouble.

I would never confuse the two sites. It is a pretty good copy though, but only a copy. The trouble would come if anyone says it is equal - which stone did Mian Mir set in place, which step did Guru Arjan walk, sit or stand on?

Allenwalla Ji, Don't know sir, When i saw the news, It was same model. Still it was under construction. SGPC said to break Minerates from the temple. As it was not historically equal but physically it was exact copy. Structure, Minarets, Minar, Sarovar and all that. Don't know present situation. Ya it is good copy though, but news is not false. So it is about News and Historical pakh how sangat show ros during old times too.

It is just news, What if someone make replica, i want people should make replica of golden temple in every town, every village, every city etc. (Lucky 14:34, 2 January 2010 (UTC))
