I am concerned about this article for the following reasons:

  • A Sikh does not rob a bank
  • A Sikh does not denigrate another's faith.
  • A Sikh does not fight for land or nation or property but only for righteousness and protection of the weak

On the other hand, the two were brave and displayed the spirit of sacrifice that has been part of Sikhi. And I salute them for that! What are your views? Hari Singh 22:11, 28 March 2008 (MDT)

Answers of Hari Singh Ji's questions

  • A Sikh does not rob a bank

Answer: Robbing banks for personal sake is a crime, but is it a crime when you have volountered yourself to protect the interests of your (Sikh) nation and you are at a war and you want to harm your enemy financially?, also when you need to finance activity/action expenses of your fellow comrades so that they could hit more targets of your enemy? Remember! You need money to buy even a single bullet, a piece of bread, gas/petrol, to rent a room, to get your views published at different presses across the region, … basically to do almost everything. So basically, they robbed the bank to harm their enemy, to use looted money to harm their enemy further, to finance Sikh freedom struggle, and not for their personal lives. Why money is important in freedom struggles, I have an example….See! What India did to financially harm Sikh Independence struggle. I grew up in India during Sikh Independence struggle, and it was famous that Sikh struggle was being financed by Sikhs in the west. Indian Government hatched a plot to discredit the Sikh movement in the west so that they could get Khalistani organizations banned and their assets froze in these countries. Please read (http://www.tehelka.com/story_main33.asp?filename=Ne040807operation_silence.asp ), Tehelka and Canadian Governments have found evidences that Indian government killed Bhai Talwinder Singh Parmar, a Babbar Khalsa leader in a fake encounter to hide its (Indian Government agent’s) involvement in AI Flight 182 bomb explosion where several Canadian citizens were killed . Hari Singh Jee, All this was a game of Chess. India wanted to block money going towards Sikh freedom fighters by using all criminal means and Sikhs wanted to weaken India financially by destroying Indian properties, burning Indian banks, and they looted India’s own money to harm India.

I don’t know if I could explain….. but if you didn’t understand then please let me know, I can try explaining it further.

  • A Sikh does not denigrate another's faith.

Answer: Yes, A Sikh does not denigrate another's faith, I am not aware if Jinda and Sukha did this act, if yes ? then please discuss.

  • A Sikh does not fight for land or nation or property but only for righteousness and protection of the weak

Answer: How would you protect a weak when your own safety is at danger? Guru Gobind Singh Jee said, Koi Kisi Ko Raj Na De Hai, Jo Le Hai Nij Bal Se Le ..&.. Raaj bina na Dharam chalae hai, dharma bina sab dale male hai…..

So what would you do when you are being discriminated by India since it came into existence? Why not to have your own home. A long essay could be typed on all the injustices/discriminations-legal and illegal, which India did to us. Democracy means majority always rule. Also, Rulers always protect their own interests first. And we are a “minority” so you know.....

Jews were also murdered around Europe, they were a minority, but they didn’t loose their hope and finally they have got a home where Hebrew could flourish, Torah could be read and protected proudly, Jewish religion could flourish. (I liked a sentence in movie "Munich", i.e. "atleast we have a home" ...--Singh6 22:43, 4 April 2008 (MDT)

Adding other reasons

Sing6, Tried to add their other reasons-would have added the attacks throughout the Panjab, but the sentence grew too long. Would not the funds, in the bank, be the savings of all Indians, including Sikh's, Jainah's Parsi's and Hindus, as well?
