Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh,

Luckyji, it seems you might have read some of Auckbaraullee's e-books. His claims of Guru Nanak being a Muslim along with jesus seemed out of place here. This seems to have hit a raw nerve with you as did the miss translated question to Mrs. Clinton that hit a nerve with her. See [1] and watch her dander rise (blood boil). Blogs are filled with such tripe-chill out.

Guru Nanak intended to belong to and be a teacher for the whole world (my belief) and worked to bring equality to all.

His teachings have many things in common with many religions.

Because of his belief in one God, many modern day Muslims argue that he was a Musalman, the best known man to do that was an an Ahmadi named Prof. Abdul Jaleel [2] -(the only Muslim winner of the Nobel Prize, an Ahmadi - Dr Abdus Salam was himself declared a non-muslim along with all his fellow Ahmadis by Pakistan's Parliament under Zia ul Haq.)[3] The Ahmadis claim a literacy rate of 99% vs the rest of Pakistan's Muslims (34.8). Only the rich recieve a 'western style' education in private schools in Pakistan and around the world. The taleban would end any study of the english language and english law. The so called taleban of Nigeria was even teaching that the world was flat and four cornered because it was said in the Qur'an or Hadiths. They believed that only the Qur'an should be studied - only by men.

I have never read that Guru Nanak pronounced the Shahada [4] (required to be a Muslim) or rolled out a matt and faced the Ka 'abah to pray 5 times daily. His Sikhs don't get buried.

He did admire Kabir. but I never read of his studying Arabic, the only script in which the Qur'an was written in until three centuries later. Persian differs from Arabic and Urdu.

While the Sufis befriended the Gurus, many of the Sunnis caused the same violence in Nanaks times, as they did in the Chotta and Wada Ghalughara in the late 1700s, 1947 and today. Pakistan and Iraq daily see the wanton violence of the fight between Shias and Sunni militants.

I can imagine that even in India, Hyderabad for instance that police guards are required during the processions of Ashura in the month of Muharram.

Please read this article written by a Hazara [5] which explains a lot about what happened/is happening in Quetta and even in Iran currently.

And I never read that Guru Nanak married in a Muslim family - as was claimed in the article by Prof. Abdul Jaleel.

After my usual 3 hours of sleep, I woke this morning and read a piece where Zaid Hamid was railing about the inferiority of Hindu rule vs. Muslim rule, ect.. “Amongst his pearls of wisdom was the nugget that many Sikhs in Punjab are secretly Muslims whose allegiance is across the border. He teared up when he said that, and it sounded sincere”. from The Pakistan report card, September 18, 2008 by Fasi Zaka: [6] Mr. Hamid was mentioned in today's Nadeem F. Paracha article on Dawn.com.[7] Warning: the title of his column series and the photo used will be offensive to many Sikhs.

I remember that watching the Mumbai Attack live on Indian TV, I often saw Zaid blaming the attack on Hindus, Jews and America who run and fund the Taleban and LeT- his paleed theory.

In answer to your question - While I have learned the Devnagari Script = poorly (I can read a little, but only recognize a few words. Indians amaze me with their ability to switch between so many languages.

my ability to read the Gurmukhi and Urdu alphabets is non existent - something God willing I hope to improve.

Allenwala ji

Abdul Jaleel know nothing about sikhism and this has shown by him in his article i think you being a non sikh know guru nanak sahib very well what he was. Even i don't say he was a Sikh. It was sikh who made him guru. It was mureed who made him murshad.

Acc. to me Taliban is nothing but the group of crooks lead by some misinterpreters of quran. They interpret quran for violence which is not aim of any religion. Sikh supports non violence in first three slaps, after that sikhs also do action but these people know violence and dhakka or forcefully conversion.

Sir i want you to read Janamsakhis, these are most confused granths because written by some Shingar Rass writers. I think Babar was also sunni(the event of eminabad) who met guru nanak and leave whole prisnors. Even many sunni muslims met guru nanak in sultanpur, kabul etc. even he was kicked by many muslims too.

Nanak married to muslim family is explained in article. well i would read your articles thanks for submitting and ya
