THIS ARTICLE PRESENTS A COMPREHENSIVE VIEW OF GURBANI ON 'DANCING' in two parts. Individual Gurbani Tuks in English (need further editing) have been consolidated in part-I as index. The index covers all those shabads in Granth Sahib which talk about the subject of dancing.

Bulk of the main body text follows the index as part-II of the article. Overall presentation and theme of entire text is guided by Prof Sahib Singh's DARPAN. Needless to say that Gurbani and Gurmat are basis of the entire write up. True to the overall spirit of Gurbani there is no account of Guru Sahiban or their Sikhs indulging in today’s social sense of dancing.
