Shaheed Khalsa Force

A unknown group till 1997, the Shaheed Khalsa Force (or Saheed Khalsa Force), claimed credit for the marketplace bombings in New Delhi in 1997.[1] Further there is never heard or written about this group.

Area of operation

All major bomb blasts done by Shaheed Khalsa Force where in the Indian capital, Delhi. This is the only operational zone of Shaheed Khalsa Force as they have done no major terrorist attack outside Delhi.

Was/Is it a real terrorist group?

Delhi police was never able to arrest any member of SKF. So it remains unclear if the group was a real group, or just a hoax. Also there is/was no known chief of SKF. And after 4-5 bomb-blasts in Delhi in 1997, the group Shaheed Khalsa Force never again came in media.

Bomb blasts

Shaheed Khalsa Force had asserted that it set off three blasts in a Delhi district on October 2nd, wounding 27 people during a Hindu religious procession. [3]

The same day, three bombs put in a train near the Indian capital, Delhi killed 2 people and wounded 38, including 2 Japanese visitors and 5 Australians. [4]

Shaheed Khalsa Force also asserted responsibility for three explosions in Delhi on Octotber 10th that killed a child and wounded 16. [5]
