1. Rise early


Life of a Gursikh starts with Amrit-vela. The time is important for concentration in Simran or in Sangat

2. Practical Life based on Gurbani

Whenever we have planned for the day, should be a part of our Life's aim, remembering Guru Arjan's "Awar kaj tere kite na kam,mil sadh sangat bhaj keval Naam".


3. Discard bad things


"Jaalo aisee reet jit men piyara veesrai" Discard all those traditions and actions that are obstacles in the Divine Path.


4. Eat less


What we eat must be strictly watched . Harry Banjamin (Diet Specialist) observes that an average man eats three times his requirement and remains ill all his life.


5.Simple Living

By adopthng simple living, we can help the needy around us with our own income. It is our duty to ensure Sarbat da bhalla in this way.


6. Kill Ego


we should be careful not to hurt someone's feeling by our ego.We should try our best to give due regards and respects to our near and dears around us. Humanity has been taught to us by Guru Nanak.


7. Recite Gurbani


whatever Gurbani we remember by heart remains an asset with us for life.We can never feel lonely or bored. It helps us during waiting for a bus,train,a plane and during morning walk too.


8. Follow great men's work

Along with SGGS we should go through the works of Bhai Vir Singh ji, Bhai Randhir Singh ji, Principle Teja Singh, Raghbir Singh , Prof Sahib Singh ji and other scholors and saints whose words have a divine power to guide us on the path of Truth


9. Review our daily Life

At the end of the day we must review our actions performed during the day.


10. Control Sleep.


It is easy to control sleep for those who have control over their eating . To sleep early after planning for tomorrow in His remembrance is the secret of getting up early morning.
