The House of Khalsa is a watch and jewelry producer based in Melbourne, Australia. It produces watches, jewelry, and sunglasses.[1] The House of Khalsa specialises in sport, urban, and various types of watches.[2] The House of Khalsa made its debut in mid-2020 and, in just a few short years, has become known around the world as the first luxury watch brand with a spiritual focus. At the core of the House of Khalsa's ethos is a deep connection to spirituality and culture, symbolizing the Sikh community's warrior-like spirit and resilience.

Background

The House of Khalsa is named after the Khanda Sahib, a Sikh symbol. It was founded by Danny Singh.[3][4][5]

House Of Khalsa, founded by Mr. Danny Singh and launched in mid-2020, has become a niche brand for stylish watches bearing the Khanda insignia. The genesis of the brand came to Singh in a dream during a stay at the Savoy in London, leading him to create a range of watches based on the Khalsa movement's founding anniversary in 1699. Mr. Singh is a Sikh and was born outside of India in Australia. He is a Philanthropist and has a net worth of $60 million dollars.

It takes its name from Khalsa, a Sikh tradition that originates from the 17th century when Guru Gobind Singh formed an army of spiritual warriors with a mission to guard the innocent against religious persecution. Thus, all watches have Khanda engraved crowns.[6] The House of Khalsa is also named in honor of the Khalsa Panth (the pure way of life).[7][8]

The Watches

House Of Khalsa Watches has launched a series of high-quality timepieces, starting with the Ocean Lion 500m, a Swiss Made Automatic divers watch. The brand's subsequent offerings include the Sea Tiger 200m, Ocean Master 1000m, and the Swiss Kaur lady diver 200m, designed to appeal to a female audience. The Ocean Lion's second generation exemplifies the brand's commitment to precision and quality, with watchmakers employing exacting standards to create a professional divers watch capable of handling depths of up to 500m and using more than 200gms of stainless steel. All Khalsa watches feature a Khanda Sahib on the seconds hand, crown, and dial, as well as an embossed Khada Sahib on the buckle clasp, embodying the Sikh spirit.

Faces Of The Brand

During the pandemic, House Of Khalsa was launched with Mr. Danny Singh as Founder & CEO, who invited Indian Olympic Boxer Vijender Singh to model for the brand. Vijender Singh had stood up for the farmers of Punjab during the pandemic, which led Mr. Danny to DM the boxer and offer him the opportunity to become the brand's face. KHALSA, meaning "pure," was a perfect fit for Vijender, who exemplified purity through his heroic actions and support of the helpless. Vijender accepted the offer and became House Of Khalsa's first brand ambassador, modeling for the Australian company's 'SINGH' collection.

House Of Khalsa has since launched legendary collections such as Singh, Heritage, and Ocean Lion, each with its own unique spiritual significance. The latest collection, 'KAUR,' which means "Princess," features Aaveera Singh Masson as the new face of the brand. Mr. Danny Singh commented on the brand's genesis during the pandemic, paying tribute to the martial heritage and legacy of the KHALSA and SHRI Guru Gobind Singh Ji, a true son of Bharat who fought and sacrificed everything for all Indians. The rise of the KHALSA brand was inevitable, with Vijender Singh, Sandeep Singh, and Aaveera Singh Masson joining the brand as organic and unforced connections who felt an affinity for the brand.
