This picture looks like the style of Devender Singh (b. 1947). If this is correct, has he approved that this picture can be used here? (I certainly hope he has — it is a powerful picture.) -- Olve 17:57, 11 April 2007 (EDT)

I am not sure as no signature can be seen on the painting. This was found on the Daughter of the Khalsa blog. I am in the process of writing to most Sikh painters and writers to get their approval to use some of their work on SikhiWiki. For painters it would be low res picture of 400px or less and for writers it would be on the condition that their name and site link would be available on the article page. I have previously written to Devinder and got a initial reply agreeing to supply some work but the final email has not yet arrived. I will chase this up. --Hari Singh 21:05, 11 April 2007 (EDT)
