A good place to start is to look at [[Dasam Granth]] at http://www.sridasam.org/dasam?c=t
The translation is not very good but it will give you an good idea. The message has to be similar to that of the other Gurus otherwise it does not make sense but the focus is shaper and at time abrupt. You must read section 3 which is - [[Bachitar Natak]]

From all my reading re. Guru Gobind Singh - Seize and destroy the sinful and the wicked- seems to be a little off. No mention of justice or trials.

Does anyone have the original wording? I will look.
