Guru Nanak Tree, Leh : In Leh city there is a biggest and oldest tree planted by Guru Nanak Dev ji.the tree is located in main bazar at the back side of main mosgue.a board depiciting the history and Nishan sahib has been erected by Sikh Sangat ,the tree needs timely maintainence as cöndition is deteriorating day by day.

Guru Nanak Dev ji's visits to Leh and Kargil districts of jammu and Kashmir stand marked by historical gurudwaras as under:-

  • Leh district--Gurdwa 'Pathar Sahib' situated 27 km from Leh city.
  • Kargil city-- Gurdwara Charan Kamal Sahib situated on the out skirts of the city on the the Bank of Suru River.
