Thanks

Amita ji,WJKKWJKF,

Thanks for helping me in trying to remove the misinfomation at Wikipedia by adding a request on the talk page of magnetic hill.U were the first who guided me on this Sikhiwiki when i entered here. U r a treasure of Gurbani but i request u that the words of Gurbani should not be inserted in every article. Articles should be in simple english so that persons like me having less knowledge should be able to understand. There may be special Articles for explaining Gurbani and its teachings. I have also tried ur email but could not find ur reply. May Waheguru give u more and more Power of Gurbani.

wiki-etiquette - adding to the User page

Amita ji,

Please do not add text to user pages as this is the domain of the user - If you wish to communicate with the user, it must be via their user talk/discussion page. The user should be left alone to create their own user page, if they wish. If they ask for your help, only then should you help - but even then by adding text to the talk page and letting them transfer this text to their own user site.

Also, communication on the user talk page should be kept simple, textual and not graphical, polite and welcoming. Please observe this "wiki-etiquette". Many thanks. das, Hari Singh 19:50, 11 September 2007 (EDT)

Work

1.This article is based on SatGurBani.

Gurbani is ONE & only One scripture of Sikh.s of the world. It manifests it self & is preceived by TRUE Sikh.s as TRUE Guru, TRUE God, TRUE Sikh, & Humanity & Sikh Society, all in ONE.

Bhai Gurdas ji was was responsible for writing the first compilation of SatGurBani. While Guru Arjan Dev ji dictated the Bani, Bhai Sahib put the words to paper. He, after Gurus, is recognised as the first "Scholar of Sikhism", His own writings, 'Varan Bhai Gurdas' were acknoledged by Guru Arjan Dev, as "the Key to SatGurBani". The Varan also offer clear supplementry guidance on this subject

s3gurr ke baxe s3 s3 kr janu, gursiKau hr kar3a aap muho kaDae"

O GurSikhs, Bani is Flawless & TRUE. Lord TRUTH hir self Make it gracefully flow from the lips " sggs p308

Edit does not work? - It works for me!

Respected Mutia Ji

I have looked at this "Editing" problem and the system appears to work fine with me. Can you tell me which article appears to have a problem? Many thanks, Hari Singh 10:40, 13 November 2007 (MST)

Gurmukhi text

Mutia ji, Sat Sri Akal

I have reverted two articles which you "amended" earlier. Please note that this amendment actually made the text appear incorrectly on other system using the Unicode font system. Please refer to SikhiWiki:Using Punjabi on SikhiWiki to make your system Unicode compliant as this is now the de facto system for displaying and using multiple fonts. Many thanks & kind regards, Hari Singh 17:12, 21 March 2008 (MDT)

adding Siri_Singh_Sahib_Harbhajan_Singh_Khalsa_Yogi to template

Siri_Singh_Sahib_Harbhajan_Singh_Khalsa_Yogi never said he was a Guru - please provide proof before you make such un-established statements. I am sorry but I have reverted the changes that you made. SikhiWiki must only support facts that are true and supported by evidence. Hari Singh 09:31, 16 April 2008 (MDT)

Please, articles must adhere to the guidelines laid down

Mutia ji, Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh

I sorry but the article "Truth" does not comply with our guidelines - There must be a clear message in the articles which if possible should be linked to Gurbani or Sikh history. The article needs to be coherent and in a defined format - please see SikhiWiki Help especially the manual of style. Please try and re-write in accordance with the requirement listed there. Many thanks and kind regards, Hari Singhtalk 07:19, 11 May 2008 (MDT)
