Sorat'h, Fifth Mehla: The Supreme Lord God, the Transcendent Lord, has forgiven me, and all diseases have been cured. Those who come to the Sanctuary of the True Guru are saved, and all their affairs are resolved. ||1|| The Lord's humble servant meditates in remembrance on the Naam, the Name of the Lord; this is his only support. ਪਦਅਰਥ: ਪਰਮੇਸਰਿ—ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ਰ ਨੇ। ਬਿਦਾਰੇ—ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਸਗਲ—ਸਾਰੇ।੧। ਜਨਿ—ਜਨ ਨੇ। ਅਧਾਰਿ—ਆਸਰੇ ਤੇ। ਸਤਿਗਰਿ—ਗਰੂ ਨੇ।ਰਹਾਉ। ਕਰਹ—ਅਸੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਪਿਆਰੇ—ਹੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ! ਗਰਿ—ਗਰੂ ਨੇ। ਕਰਤੇ ਕੀ—ਕਰਤਾਰ ਦੀ। ਸਾਚ—ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ। ਸਤਿ—ਠੀਕ, ਸੱਚ। ਭਾਖਿਆ—ਉਚਾਰਿਆ।੨। ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਜਿਸ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ, ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਵਿਚ (ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਰਿਆ), ਪੂਰੇ ਗਰੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਤਾਪ ਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ।ਰਹਾਉ। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਾਰਬਰਹਮ ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ਨੇ (ਜਿਸ ਸੇਵਕ ਉੱਤੇ) ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰੋਗ ਉਸਨੇ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਜੇਹੜੇ ਭੀ ਮਨੱਖ ਗਰੂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਦੱਖਾਂ-ਕਲੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਗਰੂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਸਵਾਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।੧। ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ (ਭਾਈ)! (ਗਰੂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ) ਅਸੀ (ਭੀ) ਸਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਹਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਗਰੂ ਨੇ (ਹੀ ਤਾਪ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਤਾਕਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ (ਹੀ) ਉਚਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਗਰੂ ਨੇ ਇਹ) ਸਹੀ ਬਚਨ ਉਚਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ (ਠੀਕ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ)।੨।੧੮।੪੬। |
