ਭਝ ਕ੝ਰਿਪਾਲ ਦਇਆਲ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਾ ਅੰਮ੝ਰਿਤ੝ ਰਿਦੈ ਸਿੰਚਾਈ ॥ ਨਵ ਨਿਧਿ ਰਿਧਿ ਸਿਧਿ ਹਰਿ ਲਾਗਿ ਰਹੀ ਜਨ ਪਾਈ ॥1॥
ਕਾਮ੝ ਕ੝ਰੋਧ੝ ਲੋਭ੝ ਮੋਹ੝ ਮਿਟਾਵੈ ਛ੝ਟਕੈ ਦ੝ਰਮਤਿ ਅਪ੝ਨੀ ਧਾਰੀ ॥ ਹੋਇ ਨਿਮਾਣੀ ਸੇਵ ਕਮਾਵਹਿ ਤਾ ਪ੝ਰੀਤਮ ਹੋਵਹਿ ਮਨਿ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥੧॥
 
ਸੰਤਨ ਕਉ ਅਨਦ੝ ਸਗਲ ਹੀ ਜਾਈ ॥ ਗ੝ਰਿਹਿ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਠਾਕ੝ਰ੝ ਭਗਤਨ ਕਾ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸ੝ਰਬ ਠਾਈ ॥1॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
 
ਤਾ ਕਉ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਪਹ੝ਚਨਹਾਰਾ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਅੰਗਿ ਗ੝ਸਾਈ ॥ ਜਮ ਕੀ ਤ੝ਰਾਸ ਮਿਟੈ ਜਿਸ੝ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮ੝ ਧਿਆਈ ॥2॥2॥33॥

ਪਦਅਰਥ: ਦਇਆਲ—ਦਇਆਵਾਨ। ਅੰਮ੝ਰਿਤ੝—ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਾਮ—ਜਲ। ਰਿਦੈ—ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ। ਸਿੰਚਾਈ—ਮੈਂ ਭੀ ਭਰ ਲਵਾਂ। ਨਵ ਨਿਧਿ—(ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ) ਨੌ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ। ਰਿਧਿ ਸਿਧਿ—ਕਰਾਮਾਤੀ ਤਾਕਤਾਂ। ਜਨ ਪਾਈ—ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ।੧।
 
ਕਉ—ਨੂੰ। ਜਾਈ—ਥਾਂ। ਸਗਲ ਹੀ ਜਾਈ—ਸਭ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ। ਗ੝ਰਿਹਿ—ਘਰ ਵਿਚ। ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ—ਵੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਸ੝ਰਬ—ਸਰਬ, ਸਾਰੀਆਂ। ਠਾਈ—ਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।
 
ਪਹ੝ਚਨਹਾਰਾ—ਬਰਾਬਰੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ। ਜਾ ਕੈ ਅੰਗਿ—ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਪੱਖ ਵਿਚ। ਗ੝ਸਾਈ—ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਖਸਮ—ਪ੝ਰਭੂ। ਤ੝ਰਾਸ—ਡਰ। ਧਿਆਈ—ਧਿਆਇ।੨।
 
ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਸਭਨੀਂ ਥਾਈਂ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਘਰ ਵਿਚ, (ਘਰੋਂ) ਬਾਹਰ (ਹਰ ਥਾਂ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦਾ (ਰਾਖਾ) ਹੈ। (ਭਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੝ਰਭੂ) ਸਭਨੀਂ ਥਾਈਂ ਵੱਸਦਾ (ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ)।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।
 
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਨੌ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ, ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਾਮਾਤੀ ਤਾਕਤਾਂ, ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕੀਆਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਪ੝ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਉਤੇ (ਸਦਾ) ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। (ਜੇ ਪ੝ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ) ਮੈਂ ਭੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਾਮ-ਜਲ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਾਂ।੧।
 
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨ੝ੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੱਖ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪ ਹ੝ੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਮਨ੝ੱਖ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਮਨ੝ੱਖ ਬਰਾਬਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਜਿਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦਿਆਂ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਸਹਮ ਮ੝ੱਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਨੇੜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਢ੝ਕਦੀ), ਤੂੰ ਭੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਕਰ।੨।੨।੩੩।

The Lord of the Universe has become kind and merciful; His Ambrosial Nectar permeates my heart.
If she renounces and eliminates her sexual desire, anger, greed and attachment, and her evil-mindedness and self-conceit as well;
The nine treasures, riches and the miraculous spiritual powers of the Siddhas cling to the feet of the Lord's humble servant. ||1||
and if, becoming humble, she serves Him, then she becomes dear to her Beloved's Heart. ||1||


The Saints are in ecstasy everywhere.
Listen, O beautiful soul-bride: By the Word of the Holy Saint, you shall be saved.
Within the home, and outside as well, the Lord and Master of His devotees is totally pervading and permeating everywhere. ||1||Pause||
Your pain, hunger and doubt shall vanish, and you shall obtain peace, O happy soul-bride. ||1||Pause||


No one can equal one who has the Lord of the Universe on his side.

The fear of the Messenger of Death is eradicated, remembering Him in meditation; Nanak meditates on the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||2||2||33||

ਪਦਅਰਥ:- ਮਿਟਾਵੈ-ਮਿਟਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ । ਛ੝ਟਕੈ-ਮ੝ੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ । ਦ੝ਰਮਤਿ-ਭੈੜੀ ਮਤਿ । ਅਪ੝ਨੀ ਧਾਰੀ-ਆਪਣੀ ਹੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ । ਕਮਾਵਹਿ-ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਕਰੇਂ । ਮਨਿ-ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ।1।


ਸ੝ੰਦਰਿ-ਹੇ ਸ੝ੰਦਰੀ! ਹੇ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੝ਰੀ! ਸਾਧੂ ਬਚਨ-ਗ੝ਰੂ ਦੇ ਬਚਨ । ਉਧਾਰੀ-ਉਧਾਰਿ, (ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮ੝ੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਡ੝ੱਬਣ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚਾ ਲੈ । ਸਹਸਾ-ਸਹਮ । ਸ੝ਖਮਨਿ-ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਵੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ । ਨਾਰੀ-ਹੇ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੝ਰੀ! ।1।ਰਹਾਉ।

ਕਾਮ੝ ਕ੝ਰੋਧ੝ ਲੋਭ੝ ਮੋਹ੝ ਮਿਟਾਵੈ ਛ੝ਟਕੈ ਦ੝ਰਮਤਿ ਅਪ੝ਨੀ ਧਾਰੀ ॥ ਹੋਇ ਨਿਮਾਣੀ ਸੇਵ ਕਮਾਵਹਿ ਤਾ ਪ੝ਰੀਤਮ ਹੋਵਹਿ ਮਨਿ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥੧॥

ਸ੝ਣਿ ਸ੝ੰਦਰਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਬਚਨ ਉਧਾਰੀ ॥ ਦੂਖ ਭੂਖ ਮਿਟੈ ਤੇਰੋ ਸਹਸਾ ਸ੝ਖ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਤੂੰ ਸ੝ਖਮਨਿ ਨਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

kaam krodhh lobh mohu mittaavai shhuttakai dhuramath apunee dhhaaree || hoe nimaanee saev kamaavehi thaa preetham hovehi man piaaree ||1||

sun su(n)dhar saadhhoo bachan oudhhaaree || dhookh bhookh mittai thaero sehasaa sukh paavehi thoo(n) sukhaman naaree ||1|| rehaao ||

Aasaa, Fifth Mehla:

ਪਦਅਰਥ:- ਮਿਟਾਵੈ-ਮਿਟਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ । ਛ੝ਟਕੈ-ਮ੝ੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ । ਦ੝ਰਮਤਿ-ਭੈੜੀ ਮਤਿ । ਅਪ੝ਨੀ ਧਾਰੀ-ਆਪਣੀ ਹੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ । ਕਮਾਵਹਿ-ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਕਰੇਂ । ਮਨਿ-ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ।1।

ਸ੝ੰਦਰਿ-ਹੇ ਸ੝ੰਦਰੀ! ਹੇ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੝ਰੀ! ਸਾਧੂ ਬਚਨ-ਗ੝ਰੂ ਦੇ ਬਚਨ । ਉਧਾਰੀ-ਉਧਾਰਿ, (ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮ੝ੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਡ੝ੱਬਣ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚਾ ਲੈ । ਸਹਸਾ-ਸਹਮ । ਸ੝ਖਮਨਿ-ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਵੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ । ਨਾਰੀ-ਹੇ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੝ਰੀ! ।1।ਰਹਾਉ।
