Giani Hira Singh Dard‎

Bhai Sahib, I hope you read and spell Punjabi as I think many words are spelled incorrectly in the page on Giani Hira Singh Dard

arresets - I corrected to arrests, Rikabganj - I changed to Rakab Ganj, but Phulvdn, - Ydddn and Hor Kahdmdn are words I can't guess.

Also though I don't know how to make the word plural - I think Ydtrd may be Yatra (pilgrimage).

Hope you can help Allenwalla 04:02, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

Bhai Sahib,

I will update the page soon. I need to gather more information on this. I appreciate your help. God bless!

Bhai Sahib ji,

It appears that this photo on the right is not of the above named person as it appears to be Swami Rama Tirtha who appears to be a different person!

I have removed this photo from the article for the time-being as it may be inaccurate. Please could you check the article at Wikipedia at this link - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swami_Rama_Tirtha to confirm either way.

Many thanks for your continued help at Sikhiwiki. Kind regards, Hari Singhtalk 22:57, 8 March 2010 (UTC)

Thanks Hari Singh Singh Ji.. I think you are right but it may be his students who are trying to divert the directions. I will confirm this when I visit his village in India next year. I will add more information once I come back from my visit.

Bhai Sahib ji,

Many thanks for your reply and for adding this article to SikhiWiki. He certainly is a very interesting person who appears to have great knowledge about the ancient religious scriptures of India. It will be interesting to read more about his life and particularly how he decided to follow Sikhi; there is mention at Wikipedia about a change when he heard Guru Tegh Bahadur ji da Salok see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_converts_to_Sikhism#From_Hinduism. Unfortunately no reference is mentioned. Kind regards, Hari Singhtalk 07:30, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

Thanks to you for taking your time to correct mistakes. You can read more in this PDF file. http://www.gurunanakhealing.com/PREFACE%20TO%20ENGLISH%20EDITION.pdf

changes to your article

Sardar ji, after reading the article I was confused and have spent some time editing, rather than just posting the changes I have posted them on the talk page of the article for your review. If you find it still accurate, please feel free to use it if you want. I will remove it from the talk section after a few days. Talk:Gurcharan Singh rishi
