1552: 26 March: Guru Amar Das (5 May 1479 - 1 September 1574) was the third of the Ten Gurus of Sikhism and became Guru on 26 March 1552 at the age of 73 following in the footsteps of Guru Angad Dev, who left for his heavenly abode on 29 March 1552 aged 48.

1581: September 1, Guruship of Guru Arjan Dev (15 April 1563 - 30 May 1606) was the fifth of the Ten Gurus of Sikhism and became Guru on 1 September 1581

1588: Hazrat Mian Mir,a famous Muslim Sufi saint laid down the foundation stone of Harmandir Sahib, the main Sikh shrine in the world on 13 January 1588 AD.

1504:March 31:- Birth of Guru Angad Dev ji (March 31, 1504 - March 29 1552) was the second of The Ten Gurus of Sikhism.


1506: Birth of Baba Buddha ji (6 October 1506 - 8 September 1631), one of the most venerated, primal figures of early Sikhism, was born on 6 October 1506 at the village of Katthu Nangal, 18 km north-east of Amritsar.


1535: Birthday of Bibi Bhani ji (1535 - 1598) daughter of Guru Amar Das and Mata Mansa Devi. She was born on 19 January 1535 (21 Magh 1591 Bk) at Basarke Gillan, a village near Amritsar.


1563: April 15:- Birth of Guru Arjan Dev ji (15 April 1563 - 30 May 1606) was the fifth of the Ten Gurus of Sikhism

1539: September 22: Demise of Guru Nanak Dev Ji (April 15, 1469 - September 22,1539),the the founder of Sikhism and the first of the ten Gurus of the Sikhs.

1545: Demise of Mata Sulakhni (1473-1545), the wife of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism. She was the daughter of Mool Chand (sometimes referred as Mul Chand Chauna), a Chona Khatri of Batala and mother Chando Rani.

1552: March 29: Demise of Guru Angad Dev Ji (March 31 1504 - March 29 1552) was the second of The Ten Gurus of Sikhism.

1555: Demise of Baba Lakhmi Chand also called Lakhmi Chand (12 February 1497 - 9 April 1555), the younger son of Guru Nanak, was born to Mata Sulakhni at Sultanpur Lodhi, in presentday Kapurthala district of the Punjab, on 19 Phagun 1553 Bk/12 February 1497. Unlike his elder brother, Sri Chand, Lakhmi Das got married and led a householder's life. The Bedi families of the Punjab claim their descent from him. He died at Kartarpur (on Ravi) on 13 Baisakh 1612 Bk/9 April 1555.


1574: September 1:- Demise of Guru Amar Das Ji (May 5,1479 to September 1,1574) was the third of The Ten Gurus of Sikhism.

1598: Demise of Bibi Bhani ji (1535 - 1598) daughter of Guru Amar Das and Mata Mansa Devi. She left for her heavenly abode at Goindval on 9 April 1598. She was born on 19 January 1535 (21 Magh 1591 Bk) at Basarke Gillan, a village near Amritsar.
