Hi Sukh,
Thanks for your help. I have enabled Punjabi on my system amd I think it's working. I have also put a warning message - a bit like the wikipedia one that you showed me. I hope that will warn other users about this problem.

Thanks for the message - I am using xp and I thought that the system was unicode enabled. I am using Netscape - so this may be the problem. Thanks for the links.

I will put the gurmukhi text back to the original posting by you. I did try to email you before making the changes but I think you have not set that up your email on the Sikhiwiki system.
