- Guru Gobind Singh was 13 of Age when Guru Tegh Baghadur ji was martyred.
It is acceptable fact that, The Age to perform act of Dharma was 13. Bhagat Kabir himself explained the fact that (ਬਾਰਹ ਬਰਸ ਬਾਲਪਨ ਬੀਤੇ) i.e Twelve years pass in childhood, even 9th GUru said (ਖੋਇਓ ਬਾਲਪਨ ਅਗਿਆਨਾ॥). So Childhood was not appropriate age for performing Act of Dharma. It was only Guru HarKrishen who was Devotee by Birth including Dhruv and Prahlad, No Other example is there in world except three as Child Devotees.
Guru Gobind Singh cleared (ਕੀਨੀ ਅਨਿਕ ਭਾਂਤਿ ਤਨ ਰਛਾ ॥ ਦੀਨੀ ਭਾਂਤਿ ਭਾਂਤਿ ਕੀ ਸਿਛਾ ॥ I was given physical protection in various ways and given various types of education.)). Guru Gobind Singh continued with (ਜਬ ਹਮ ਧਰਮ ਕਰਮ ਮੋ ਆਝ ॥ ਦੇਵ ਲੋਕ ਤਬ ਪਿਤਾ ਸਿਧਾਝ ॥੩॥) When I began to perform the act of Dharma (righteousness), my father departed for his heavenly abode.3. The age of ਧਰਮ ਕਰਮ was 13. All Historians mistaken that he was 8 or 9 Years old.
