This is general message and may not applicable to all Sects and Cults.

Sikhism does not endorse Sects and Cults distinctions that takes people away from Sikh Philosophy. Sects and Cults evolve either in parallel with invent of Sikhism or later on; contains few practices of Sikh Religion, with their own philosophy; lead to distortion of pure Sikh Thought. This may happened due to ill interests of their leaders or due to cultural differences. This article is just for information purpose and to share how sects and cults related to Sikhism. So, please treat this article as a source of general information about this issue and kindly do not amend this article to highlight this important underlying Sikh principle.
