Bhai Sahib, Lucky ji, I cannot understand what you are saying here. Your points seem muddled and unclear.

Here NRI's from North India, pronounce the name with the '''H'''. While those from the Deccan leave out the H. Why since Guru Nanak used Shiva, being from the North, have you moved the page to Siva.

In my recent visit to Yuba city the Sikhs I spoke to could not understand me when I asked for directions to the local Gurdwara's, with a '''W''. Finally I said Gurd'''V''ara, and they understood what I was saying, yet no one says walla with a v. - very confusing.

Also when you write Siv, I assume you are simply using the correct Sanskrit - where Shiva is spoken, but the a is not written (in classic Sanskrit).

Bhai Sahib, Lucky ji, I cannot understand what you are saying here. Your points seem muddled and unclear.

Here NRI's from North India, pronounce the name with the H. While those from the Deccan leave out the H. Why since Guru Nanak used Shiva, being from the North, have you moved the page to Siva.

In my recent visit to Yuba city the Sikhs I spoke to could not understand me when I asked for directions to the local Gurdwara's, with a W. Finally I said GurdVara, and they understood what I was saying, yet no one says walla with a v. - very confusing.

Also when you write Siv, I assume you are simply using the correct Sanskrit - where Shiva is spoken, but the a is not written (in classic Sanskrit).
