The problem with this article is that it has no references. Second error is that that currently there are no authentic Sainis found south of Haryana (some parts of Haryana included). The article shows Sainis as a pan-Indian occupational caste which is unfounded and incorrect. According to 1881 census there were no Sainis to be found outside undivided Punjab (references are available). In the 20th century all kinds of groups (Malis, etc) adopted Saini identity. This needs mention too to prevent the dilution of Saini identity. Also, Sainis have no links with Sakyas, Reddys , Malis etc. These groups have been erroneously linked with Sainis. --Internet Scholar 18:51, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

It a great article

Hi Internet Scholar,

Thanks for the reply. The Wikipedia article is great although the beginning does not appear to be linked with Sikhi as it pre-dates it. If you are think of a detailed article like the one on Wikipedia but with more Sikhi-links then, can I suggest that the present article is move to something like "Saini grouping today" and then you do a new article on Saini in line with wikipedia.
