And yet we have Gurdwaras specially for this sect (or caste)!. Its amazing that in the year of 2009 we still have not abolish this practice.

Where is "Khalsa Panth" when it comes to this issue?

"Ramgharia Gurdwara" -> Is this "Bipran ki Reet"?

Agree with you - but the reality is there for all to see

I agree with you, User:Kaur-1 - to name a Gurdwaras after a sect is not in keeping with the ideals of our Guru but there you have it - reality does not always follow ideals! Not to sound like I support the idea, I wish to correct the impression in your post that the "Gurdwaras [is] specially for this sect (or caste)!". The Gurdwaras of the various sects are actually open to all and as far as I am aware, most other traditions within the Gurdwara comply with normal Sikh practices. However, the shrine are usually exclusively run by the sect members and this is not open to all as expected with a Gurdwara! Regards, Hari Singhtalk 22:32, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
