Siva is power of God(Shakti), will power of god, command of God. In Gurbani, Siv is treated as God, and his Sakat(i) is named as Siva by Guru Gobind Singh. Shiva is equivalent to Chandi i.e Gurmat.

Interpretations

In Gurmat Interpretations,

Means Siv = God = Karta himself give birth to Sakti = Hukam = Siva.
Gurmukh is itself Jyot of Siv = God, and Sakti = Command = Siva, always favours him.

Guru Gobind Singh gave that Sakti of Siv = Shiva. . Gobind Singh as a devotee is asking Siva = Hukam = Shakti of God to help him so that he may not hesitate from performing good actions.

In Hindism, Parvati is called Shakti = Shiva she have form and concept is totally opposite to Sikhism.
